The breakfast was delicious. The room was very well kept. The location was really nice, 5-min walk from the main REK street for tourists with lots of shops and restaurants. We really enjoyed our stay. I would love to come here again. It was great!

I had to be in this area for some work and booked one night here. I had little expectation that this would be any good as it was quite cheap for the Reykjavik district. What I found was a fantastic boutique hotel that has amazing rooms and is very clean. Nearby are a number of decent restaurants within a 5 minute walk.
Located in central Reykjavik, across from The Harpa concert hall, this stylish hotel features modern Nordic design, free internet access and a top-floor restaurant offering panoramic city views.

Everything about this hotel was amazing! Pay the little bit of extra money for the larger bed and you'll get a larger room and bigger bathroom. We had both room types, and put the teens in the smaller room, but if I had to do it again I would get both rooms with the larger bed. They also put in free of charge a smaller bed for the third child, very nice of them! Warm, beautiful view, unlimited hot water, delicious tap water, Netflix/YouTube and wifi built into each room...so welcoming after a hard day at touring! Logistically, it is an excellent departure point for any bus or excursion and even any walk-about, Worth it! Coming back to the hotel after each day-long tour or Aurora or whale-watching boat tour, we found our rooms totally cleaned and organized like it was the first day. This was consistent great service by the maid staff for both our rooms for 7 days! Request the ocean view, and I recommend 4th floor and above for wonderful views, though there are no obstructions on the ocean side of the hotel. I was completely happy and remarked to my wife on several occasions how lucky we were to get such a great hotel!

The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly and attentive. Especially Elena, Farouk, Ruska and Wadziie, to name a few. They spent a lot of time and effort giving me information, sorting out my excursions and rebooking when necessary. They all speak excellent English, so language wasn't a problem.
Breakfast was very good, just a little crowded in the buffet area because of the way the room is set up. My room was great, great view to the harbor and mountains in the distance. I especially liked the electric water cooker, so I could make a cup of tea any time.
The location is ideal, right in the shopping district, easy to get everywhere from there.
Located in Reykjavik’s business district, this Hilton hotel offers a 5-star gourmet restaurant, popular breakfast buffet and helpful, knowledgeable staff.
