Slightly off the beaten track, well worth visiting to see the Hevelli’s, temples and the Maharaja’s palace, the Junagarh Fort and the Royal Cenotaphs. Karni Mata rat temple a short distance outside of the town is also an experience well worth making the trip for.

It is easy to travel through Bikaner.
It is easy to travel through Bikaner. I would suggest to hire an auto and ask for the price of entire day (8hours) and not on an hourly basis. We went out for a bit of shopping of clothes, sweets and namkeens. We also visited bhujia namkeen factory and chunniwala sharbat. We ate at 4 different places yet our favourite was gallops just adjacent to junagarh fort. Avoid using cabs or rented cars as it will increase the travel time and at some places, these cars cannot go.

It's a nice small city to take a break from big city's chaos, only very few places to see like junagarh fort, karni mata temple and lal garh palace. Do stay in Narendra bhawan and do dine in Maharj ganga mahel hotel. It's best combination. Not sure about flights as everyone suggested us to take only train. Better take night train which is superfast and comfortable.

Since we reached on the holi day, everything was closed and couldnt explore much. But this place is worth visiting, especially the junagarh fort, rampuria haveli, the rat temple etc and the camel farm
We had looked forward to staying here for quite some time having visited India 8 or 9
times before but never made it to Bikaner: until now. Without question, the highlight of the staff was Pushpendra our driver, who was truly exceptional. Thank you to him! Also, being welcomed upon arrival by a bugle player and piped in was truly magical. We had booked for 3 nights in a Regimental Room. Upon arrival the room (& hotel) internally is quite stunning. Beautifully furnished… and here comes the ‘but’…
The host was exceptionally welcoming and kind. He made sure everything we needed was available. The room was clean and had all necessary things like hot water, warm bedding, soap and shampoo. There is food available at the property and the host has a fridge you can use. The balcony and rooftop area have good sun in the afternoon! There is food nearby and it is walking distance to the fort and other attractions. This homestay was a highlight of my stay in Bikaner
The two young guys who run this place owned by their uncle are very friendly. Sameer and Saddam are both guides so gave us some great info. We did the Rat temple and camel farm with Sameer and the fort with Saddam. Both days were good. They both speak really good English.
We planned this trip to Bikaner for the Camel Festival and the location of the homestay was perfect, the Spice market isn't far and everything is walking distance.
Literally everything:
Extremely friendly and well-prepared staff
Amazing spacious room with all comforts, high quality materials, and nice products in the bathroom
Attention to every detail, from the overall impression to the particular needs of each guest
Impressive historical building with a beautiful court to enjoy the silence
Amazing food
Perfect atmosphere to rest body and soul
Good equipped gym
Worth of all the money
When I stayed in Bikaner in January, it was unusually cold. At night the thermometer dropped to 4°C. Host Salim therefore offered a second blanket and turned on the boiler for me to shower. Thanks. The room was large, but the bathroom tiny. The homestay is not easy to find in the narrow streets. Just ask the locals, everyone knows it.
I had a very good stay in the guest house. The staff was very attentive, kind and accomodating, which certainly was the best feature of the hotel. They went out of their way to help me.
This place is ideal for travellers or if you need to stay for a few days in Bikaner, especially because of its central position.
This is very cute haveli. It's well maintained and the hosts are very welcoming. The food here was one of the best on my trip to Bikaner and Jodhpur, would definitely recommend it. You live in the quite part of the old city among other haveli's. It's not just a Haveli, it's an experience with a very budget price.
The place is 250-300 years old and very beautiful and the Speaclly bilal bhai and other people mousim bhai, atik bhai ,vijay and sanjay they are very helpful.
The room is awesome , the view and the everything is nearby. Glad I got this place and visiting everytime whenever I came to Rajasthan, bikaner.
The hospitality is incredible and so is the location. Home made food is great ! Perfect for Photography enthusiasts as its right next to the famous Rampuriya Haweli and one can explore old Bikaner on foot. Owner Saleem Khan is an expert guide as well and can help you explore the places well :)
It is a good property located in old bikaner. The staff is really helpful and courteous. Service is not less than a 5 star property. They can go out of the box to help you. Please contact them once you reach bikaner as maps will take you to no entry and congested lanes.
Planet Star Homestay is a fantastic place if you are staying in Bikaner. It is quiet, very clean and has everything you need.
A very friendly young family runs this hotel. They deserve support if you are looking for a very cheap but very nice stay in Bikaner.
It is family-owned property. The owners stay on site. They are super helpful and friendly. The hotel rooms are well-maintained and clean and have all the modern amenities. Though the hotel has an old-world charm, comfort is prioritized.
The building architecture is absolutely spectacular and is the highlight of the hotel. It is simply a great experience to just walk around the premises and explore every corner, the courtyard and rooftops, filled with memorabilia.
Stylish and spotless rooms in a beautiful heritage property near old city. The owners were so friendly and kind and we extended our stay to visit the camel festival. A fantastic hotel which we highly recommend!
Very special hotel in an ancient building (Haveli). Clean, comfortable, friendly staff giving lots of valuable recommendations and even guided us through Bikaner (great bazar district).
