Hotel location was very central and able to walk to a lot of the must sees. We felt safe walking at 6:30 am to the Molly Malone statue to meet our day tour. We arrived back about 7:30 pm and it was fine walking back to the hotel. Breakfast was awesome and staff was very friendly.

the free shuttle bus service is excellent and I appreciated being so close to the airport as it made my onward journey much easier. The price for a room for one person was 239 euros, which I find extortionate whether or not this is what hotels in Dublin charge. The breakfast was a buffet which was very disappointing. I expected table service for breakfast at this price. The food had been picked over and it was just not good enough. the reception staff on arrival were excellent and welcoming. Santry was ideal for us as it was close to the airport yet only 20-30 minutes by bus from Dublin. We had lunch in the on-site restaurant, and although it took longer than expected for our pizza, all the food was well prepared and tasty. We were there purely for attending the Santry Sports Clinic and it was well located for this purpose. There also seemed to be regular shuttles to the airport. We ate in the restaurant and enjoyed our meals. The staff were great.

To our surprise, we were informed that the Hotel had closed and that we were being 'upgraded' to the neighbouring Crowne Plaza. The upgrade was superb, with a magnificent breakfast, wonderful room and great facilities. The staff were all very courteous and nothing was a problem.
