Everything was really nice. If we will return to Dublin we will definitely stay here. We had all the facilities needed inside the room. A big thanks to the staff from the hotel. They were super helpful and nice to us. They got us a taxi and even called a museum to let they know we will be late due to traffic.

We used it mainly as base to visit Dublin (it's 20-30 minutes by tram) but spent some time walking down the harbour, it's quite beautiful and you can see people learning sailing. There's some museums and monuments worth visiting (sadly we didn't have enough time), and good places to eat. Make sure you try the fish & chips by the waterside. We were actually there for their local St. Pat's parade and it was such a great time!

Dun laoghaire is a special place to me.

Dun laoghaire is a special place to me. My gran swam almost every day in sandy cove. I've raced ironman 70.3 also from sandy cove. And the pier is always a place of memories as my aunt also lived nearby. I learned to sail in the harbour on visits as a kid. The town has a lively lovely coastal vibe.

Hotels offers a wonderful Breakfast for 15 euros and standard Pub menu for dinner usually with a daily special. The Pub was first rate and has plenty of beverages to select from, I would suggest a pint of Guiness. Parking is adequate although a little tight for larger sedans. The rooms are very well kept and bathrooms are supplied well. Staff is very helpful and friendly. I plan to use this Hotel for future visits to the Dublin area.

It is a beautiful hotel in a lovely area.

It is a beautiful hotel in a lovely area. We had no view, so we couldn't really enjoy it. We were there for such a short time it was wasted on us. The room had a smell like sewer, but the beds were comfortable. The reservations desk seemed a little clueless. The breakfast was really expensive, so we couldn't eat there and when i got recommendations for restaurants by the water, the reservationist lady only recommended one restaurant, Hardies, which was affiliated with the hotel. It was hard to get into and there were at least two other restaurants we could go to.

    Lovely harbor town!

Lovely harbor town! Good public transport to/from, many restaurants and cafes, great views. We enjoyed walking along the harbor piers. We had great food at The Vanilla Pod, Gourmet Cafe, and Sushida! We used the DART to travel to Bray one day, went into Dublin and up to Howth other days. Wish we could have stayed longer!

My main issue is lack of good signposting for electric charge points for cars. The 2 spaces were I occupied by non electric cars. Hotel needs to do more to ensure Thai does not happen as it seriously impacted my onward journey not being able to charge my car overnight.

The hotel's location to dun laoghaire pier, surrounding shops and amenities was excellent. Everything was in walking distance. Both breakfast and dinner was lovely and the staff at both Hardys bar for dinner and the buffet at breakfast were friendly and attentive. The reception staff were also willing to answer any of our questions and concerns. Overall the staff were amazing. The grounds of the hotel are beautiful and well kept. We especially enjoyed sitting at the bandstand for some thoughtful reflection.

If you want to experience what Ireland once was, book a night in this mini period house. I liked it very much. The room has a character of bygone times. The owners keep everything clean and tidy. With a map I found it without any difficulty. It was only a short 4 minute walk from Glenageary Dart Station. I chose traditional breakfast which was filling and very tasty. I'm grateful for this lovely experience.

The owners are very kind, they also run a restaurant nearby. The breakfast is delicious and the house is clean and full of historic charm. Finally, Claremont House Is located in a lovely position, near the sea and Dun Laoghaire. Also, it is only 20-30 minutes by train from Dublin. I recommend it!

Fantastic hotel. It had old-fashioned character and charm but was updated with modern features and felt well cared for. We used the spa facilities which were great and spent some time in Hardy’s Bar one evening. The staff we interacted with were friendly and helpful.

The only thing this property has going for it is location. It is convenient to the rail station into Dublin. Otherwise, it is not worth staying here and I suspect there are other options in the area, equally convenient.

Very nice place, convenient location, easy to get there. A bit further from Dun Laoghaire than would be ideal, but not a problem anyway. Only a 20 minute walk. Comfortable enough, easy parking. Quiet and peaceful.
