Extremely elegant comfortable property & the hostess was a delight. We arrived after a downpour & she arranged drying of our wet clothes & even put the heating on so we could dry our gloves etc on the radiators. Breakfast was extremely good. Would stay there again.

The hotel is a bit out of the town centre, but perfectly fine for car drivers - once you get used to the multi level one way system! Buncrana is well placed for touring North Donegal County and visiting Derry/Londonderry City nearby in N. Ireland, to where there are no travel or border restrictions. Thought the local ferries were a bit expensive for cars. The local attraction "Wild Ireland" situated near Burnfoot was well worth a visit. And a visit to Ireland's most northerly point, Malin Head, is a "must do" too. Be advised that the famous Slieve League Cliffs are over 100km from Buncrana.

A visit to Dunree Fort is worth a visit.
A visit to Dunree Fort is worth a visit. We didn't visit the museum but did some of the walks which were spectacular. We also ate in the little cafe on site which was very good indeed. Coffee in particular!
Buncrana town is lovely, plenty of shops, bars and cafes. Its a one way drive system.
We ate at Tank and Skinnys - just coffee and cake, but the food going to other tables looked delicious - we'll definitely be back.
The house was in a great location and was literally just 5 minutes away from the centre were there was plenty of bars and restaurants. Then just another 5 minute walk took you too Buncrana Beach which was stunning. Cosy McCarrons was clean and very comfortable. There was plenty of space for 2 adults and 2 kids. It was nice and modern and the host thought of everything leaving us a beautiful welcome basket and all other essentials. Brillant place for a trip away 😊
Room 226 was a really good size, over looking the bay and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was cooked to order, great quality. On site restaurant and bar had a brilliant atmosphere with live music on Saturday nights and the food was 1st class. Staff are all really lovely and willing to help. Beautiful beach just across the road and garage next door to pick up any essentials. One of the best hotels I have stayed in.
Good location for exploring Inishowen - went to Doagh Famine Village and Malin Head. Was also very central in Buncrana - nice walks by sea and walking distance to shops and restaurants. Door code very handy. Apartment clean and comfortable with lots of space. Host easily contactable and very helpful - lots of good tips for places to visit and restaurants to try.
The apartment was so well equipped with every thing you needed. Very spacious and so clean. We travelled with a three year old and she was delighted to see toys in the sitting room. The views from the kitchen are fab looking over buncrana ad the sea.Clodagh could not have been more accommodating, the best host we have ever had. We will definitely be back!!
Clean, well appointed apartment comfortably shared by family of 5. Attentive host and hostess available throughout and quite helpful. Washing facilities and updated kitchen a plus. Hot food/Irish breakfast and eat in dining at nearby circle K also an option. Central location on bus route, within walking distance of Main Street, grocery stores and beach.
We really like coming here. Comfortable, lovely views ask for 2nd floor, easy reach to buncrana. Food is practical and tasty with 2 types of choices 4 course or the relaxed bar. I'm coeliac, gluten free bread (good quality) and good choice of milks and hot food. Hubby was happy with his. Rooms warm and bed comfy my little happy place
The value for money at this hotel is amazing! We were attending a wedding down the road at the Red Door Country club and stayed at this hotel, the hotel staff were extremely accommodation getting us taxis to and from the wedding. Rooms are massive and great views. Pool, steam room facilities etc were great and extremely clean.
Warm welcome from Jason and his lovely black Labrador Peppa.
Very comfy bed. Lovely view of the sea fromthe bedroom.
Quiet location, and very convenient to Buncrana town, Beaches and facilities.and the heating being turned on for a short period in the evening was a nice touch, even though it was a nice evening in general.
The actual facilities were exceptionally good and the views over Lough Swilly and the hills around Buncrana were amazing. The hosts were friendly and helpful. They served a wide ranging breakfast that was hearty and generous. The bedrooms are very large and more than adequate for the average family.
Although it was to be a room only, our provider fed us both mornings we were there.
We were also treated to a lovely St. Pat's Day with our providers as we spent the day celebrating with them. Tara guided us all around Buncrana.
Beautiful cottage with a beautiful view. Lovely and peaceful, livestock right in-front of you. Just what we wanted for a lovely quiet few days away with the family. The most Comfortable beds and spacious rooms. Highly recommend.
We stayed in the 2-bed unit, nicely renovated, good location, modern & warm, clean and near to local shop & hotel with bar / restaurant and couple mins drive to Buncrana main street. The view over Lough Swilly is gorgeous.
Elegant decor, warm welcome, and sumptuous place in a beautiful setting overlooking Lough Swilly and close to restaurants and amenities. Marie and her husband offered a smooth and accommodating service.
Very warm welcome and flexibility when what was booked wasn’t quite right for our young family. The host jiggled things around a bit and the result perfect!
Fabulous meal in the restaurant below too!
