Goa Walet Cottage is located a little outside of Tetebatu but this makes it quieter and feel more remote. Plus the scooter drive to Tetebatu from here is one of the most beautiful I’ve done during my travels. It really is a stunning location surrounded by jungle and the locals are all so friendly. I didn’t hear the mosque during the night, all I did hear was the sounds of flowing water and occasional birds singing. The hut itself is cosy and there’s even a ‘boyfriend pillow’ to cuddle if you’re solo travelling like me!

Beautiful location overlooking the rice fields and Mt Rinjani (when there’s no cloud!) Great value for money. Basic room, good size bathroom with hot water. Restaurant food great and we’ll priced. A little piece of paradise!

I was so well looked after here during my stay, they do a good job making this place feel like home. It's in the beautiful countryside of Lombok near waterfalls and in a village so if you want a pace change this is a great place to stay. You can also set up hikes up Rinjani with the brothers too.
