Unfortunatly the roads are worse and worse in Hungary. Gyula it’s beatiful, in the autumn you can make great photos. I’ve found very neat and cozy restsurants such as Varkonyi bistro, was always full with guests, the food was very tasty, serving 1st class. They have a cookie shop named The 100 years old cookie shop, but was under renovation who knows till when, that was bit sad, I always visit it.DiaconescuRomania - 8.0Scored 8.0

Visited Gyula Aquapark for 2 days. I can say that it was nice but seems like they try to charge you for everything: * 1.5 EUR/person city tax; * parking near Aquapark about 8 EUR/day Monday-Sunday. Food & drinks pricy compared to similar Aquaparks (Szeget, Mako, Timisoara). Long waiting time at restaurant queue (restaurants with no waiters or waitresses). Very crowdy at the hot thermal water pools.

A great small town with fantastic spa and the second oldest cukraszda in Hungary but first in taste to money ratio. Dobos torta and Chokolate Mousse is a must. But not together please... Gyulai famous kolbasz and Bekes palinka finish it all. Enjoy! Last but not least the castle and the small picturesque streets close to Varfuerdo. Very nice little town, with a great thermal facility and nice people. Food was delicious (both at the Spa, and in the city - Skorpio pizzeria). Too bad the weather was cold (which is normal in January). We plan to come back in Summer to enjoy more ...

The Accomodation has a parking place with trees shadow, it is 5 minutes walk from Aquapark. The check in was smooth, keys in the safe, very good comunication with the host . We will come back for sure, I recommend this wonderful place 😍.
