Exceptionally clean and rather quiet. The staff is polite and very helpful, most of them are young and speak fluent English. The hotel is warm enough, bathrooms a bit warmer than rooms. You can choose from a variety of food at both breakfast and dinner. All the cooked food is warm and delicious. Three kinds of juice are available at breakfast, together with cold and warm milk, tea, water and a wide range of coffee. Both breakfast and dinner include several desserts.

Unfortunatly the roads are worse and worse in Hungary.
Unfortunatly the roads are worse and worse in Hungary. Gyula it’s beatiful, in the autumn you can make great photos. I’ve found very neat and cozy restsurants such as Varkonyi bistro, was always full with guests, the food was very tasty, serving 1st class. They have a cookie shop named The 100 years old cookie shop, but was under renovation who knows till when, that was bit sad, I always visit it.

Visited Gyula Aquapark for 2 days.
Visited Gyula Aquapark for 2 days. I can say that it was nice but seems like they try to charge you for everything:
* 1.5 EUR/person city tax;
* parking near Aquapark about 8 EUR/day Monday-Sunday.
Food & drinks pricy compared to similar Aquaparks (Szeget, Mako, Timisoara).
Long waiting time at restaurant queue (restaurants with no waiters or waitresses).
Very crowdy at the hot thermal water pools.

A great small town with fantastic spa and the second oldest cukraszda in Hungary but first in taste to money ratio.
Dobos torta and Chokolate Mousse is a must. But not together please...
Gyulai famous kolbasz and Bekes palinka finish it all.
Enjoy!
Last but not least the castle and the small picturesque streets close to Varfuerdo.
I keep on coming there as you could understand.

Almássy Kastély and the Castle were fantastic, in autumn the colours are beautiful in the beautiful parks. Százéves Cukrészda is a place to go, more than 100 years old cake shop with extraordinary cakes and hand made chocolate.
Everything was perfect! We stayed in an apartment, very clean, spatious and fully equipped, big bathroom, sparkly white bedsheets and towels.
The Accomodation has a parking place with trees shadow, it is 5 minutes walk from Aquapark.
The check in was smooth, keys in the safe, very good comunication with the host .
We will come back for sure, I recommend this wonderful place 😍.
Very nice accommodation, clean and comfortable. There is a well equipped kitchen (used mainly for breakfast, because you can find tasty and affordable food in Gyula).
Very close to the city center and at 5 minutes walk to the Várfürdő thermal bath.
Free parking place at the location.
Helpful and discreet host.
An excellent place for spending a relaxing vacation.
We loved everything about the hotel and the facilities. The room and the entire hotel was very clean and quiet, the bed was large and comfy. We had a full-board buffet and the food was awesome, as you would expect from an Hungarian cuisine. Staff is very polite and helpful inside the hotel and in the spa area. Everything was great, thank you.
We had a very pleasant stay in Toskana apartment. Everything is clean, warm and comfortable. The location is excellent. A 5-minute easy walk to the city spa. Private parking in the yard, you don't have to worry about anything. Relaxing and rehabilitative. For every recommendation. Thank you very much for your kindness and hospitality.
The amount of activities for children is amazing. Beside the playroom they do several activities: like face painting, glitter tattoo, dance together, the whole hotel is family friendly, the staff kind and helpful, they have an owl mascot HUNGI who is the most adorable and fun. Definitely coming back for more. We loved it!
Very nice apartment, quiet and central, in walking distance to the aquapark. The room was very clean and nicely furnished and the kitchen had everything we needed. Miss Ilona was very friendly even with the language barrier. Internet is fast, restaurants and supermarkets are reachable by foot.
A beautiful little room with a full bed, kitchen, wardrobe, private bath, satellite TV and free wifi. The building is right in the center of town, a short walk from the castle, thermal baths, restaurants and shops, etc. The host family was polite and helpful.

The location is new and everything was clean and comfortable. Very close to the Aqua Park and the town center. Very good resturant downstairs. The host was very nice and helpful.
Both the breakfast and dinner were good. I appreciated the diversity for traditional Hungarian dishes.
I also liked the artwork displayed in the lobby and throughout the hotel.
The apartment is close to the Aquapark, it is well organized and clean, suitable for 4 persons, and it has private parking. The staff was friendly and communicative.
Everything was perfect. Very spacious apartment, clean, equipped with everything you need, very good heating, very close to the aquapark (2 min walking distance).
We liked the central location of the property and the price. We were planning to use tha jacuzzi and sauna, but we passed out early so skipped the wellness.
