When we arrived I asked if we could have a kettle in the room. It was delivered in 5mins. I pointed out that the chrome was peeling on the shower head. A new one was fitted in less than an hour. Fantastic service from the owners who were so helpful and great hospitality. Room was well cleaned.
Location of the hotel was excellent. A 10 minute walk from the hustle and bustle of town. Nice swimming spot just down from the hotel. Would certainly recommend it.

Souvala is a quiet and small village with a little sandy beach to swim. There are some supermarkets and a lot of cafes and restaurants. Aegina town is approx. 20 min away by the bus (it costs 1.60 EUR) and only 2 times a day. Bus timetable is available in https://www.aeginaportal.gr/ktel.html

Small and quaint with small selection restaurants, hotels and a bakery. 2 beaches 1 with sand and beach bar, the other is where ferry ports and is small but with plenty of shade. You need a car to explore the island as souvala is very small

Souvala is a quiet little village and harbour but very pleasant for a short trip. We stayed just one night as a break from Athens and the ferry to Aegina Town was a relaxing way to arrive.
Aegina Town is more sophisticated, but Souvala had a number of restaurants that looked good.
The little beach was mainly used by local families and retired people so it was pretty quiet and had charm. We had a great brunch at the Azure Beach bar and would recommend Saronikos Restaurant for dinner - lovely food (try the local pistachio pesto) and wine - reasonable prices - and right next to the sea with a fantastic view.

We have travelled a lot and this is one of the most beautiful places we have stayed. We were treated like royalty by all. WE were right at the end of the season but there were still several restaurants operating with great dining alternatives.

Souvala is the second big port of Aigina island.
Souvala is the second big port of Aigina island. It can be easily accessed by ship from Piraeus and it is located only 7-10 kilometres away from the city of Aigina. Although it is a small region of Aigina, it remains a very lively place. Especially at night, you can see the local restaurants and coffee shops full of people.
The public transport, though, available is not always so punctual and the taxis are not so easy to contact either.

If you arrive at Soulava Port, there are no taxi's readily available, especially if you need one to get to your destination.
There is a bakers, supermarket, cafe and approx 8 restaurants by the Harbour.
Also the Hotel Ixahippia has a restaurant on site for evening meals
Everything was great! beautiful people beautiful location! The pictures don't do it justice. If you like small relaxing atmosphere this is it. Only 20 minutes to Aegina port and 5 minute walk to market. Food was authentic and great service. Spyros was very helpful to book our taxi's and anniversary dinner was the best! Would definitely recommend to stay here the ocean is so blue and private beach is steps away! Family run resort and they all take good care of you!
The views!!!!!!
The main pool was lovely, plenty of comfortable sun loungers to go around.
We were room only, so didn’t have breakfast however we ate at the hotel one evening and the food was delicious.
Room was large and we had a kitchenette in ours, the fridge was handy , and the added toastie machine made making lunches easy.
Very short walk to the beach however a little incline on the way back, so may prove difficult if you have walking difficulties.
The best hotel we’ve ever stayed at. Vrachokipos has stunning views, the most beautiful private beach and ocean pool, and the room was so comfortable/beautiful/and air conditioned! The hotel owner was so kind and welcoming to us and gave us a full tour of the property upon arrival. He even let us pick out our room, provided us with waters, coffee, and even called us a taxi when we were headed out. We will 100% be coming back!!
Probably the best hotel în Souvala with very nice staff (special remarks for Emma) and owner, Mr. Thrasos. We had a beautiful appartment with a huge terrase and a balcony with double sea views. Mr. Thrasos is the best host you can get. He helped us with all what we nedeed and asked for and even transported us and our luggages with his car to the ferry at our departure. We felt as at home in this very cosy hotel.
Irides is a family run hotel located right beside the sea in Aegina. It has everything you need for a perfect holiday, what made it really special was the hospitality & warmth of owner Spyros & his gorgeous family. Anything we needed, he looked after. We stayed in a villa which was immaculately clean, the pool is lovely & salt water from the sea. Everything was perfect & can’t wait to go back again & again!
Owner was really nice and helpful on everything. Property is in Souvala so about 8-10 mins by car to Aegina center. But we loved that this area was rather small and very calm. If you’re staying couple of nights in the island we would definitely recommend it. You will anyways need to roam around the island for nice beaches… Souvala still has couple of nice restaurants and a small beach.
The host was wonderful and went way out of his way to show us hospitality. He prepared a very generous breakfast for us, and also moved our room to one with a better view without us requesting it. He was very kind. The hotel is simple but in a nice location. Souvala has a picturesque harbor, with nice taverns along the water, where we could eat and enjoy the sunset one evening.
We loved absolutely everything! Perfect location and beautiful surroundings with fantastic views. Very peaceful. Hosts could not have been more helpful with absolutely everything and made you feel very welcome.
Close to Souvala with good selection of cafes, bars, restaurants and supermarket. Another lovely place to sit and watch the boats in the harbour.
It was the best place I stayed in Greece, really easy to reach, we went by bus, bust stop is just at the end of the road, and it was such a good idea to escape the crowd in the Aegina. We had whole little beach for us, and it's great to have swimming pool, it was big and clean. The owner of the hotel was lovely, very helpful.
View from hotel is top notch. Small coastal village with restaurants within walking distance. Hotel owner is very accommodating and easy to work with- helped arrange rental car and provided extended pool time upon request. Pool was nice. Great value.
Comfortable house with a small balcony, with a wonderful view on the sea. It was near to the beach of Loutra and to Souvala (you can go by feet in 5 minutes), quiet place were you can rest and relax. I definitely raccomend it.
It’s a very cute little hotel with everything you may need during your holiday.
there was a kitchen in the room, nice terrace with a sea view, comfortable beds.
5 minute walk from the beach and restaurants.
The location was excellent, just 5 minutes from the city of Aegina. All rooms overlook the sea. The room was spacious, with all necessary facilities. The staff was polite and helpful.
