Polychrono is a lovely village with one of the nicest promenades in halkidiki, with a great variety of places to eat and drink - many with tables on the beach itself. Lovely atmosphere - relaxed and friendly. Great for families and couples who enjoy spending their evenings walking the promenade, a nice meal and chilling with a drink or two in beautifully decorated bars. Much better beaches to be had in halkidiki, but polychrono beach is typical of many town beaches in halkidiki. You definitely need a car to explore the area - afitos was nearby and is a stunning village and makes for a great evening out. The place is perfect for a family vacation with small kids, it is quiet, the beach and water are perfect, and there are several markets close by wherever your apartment is located. Doctor of Hunger is a great place to eat at. :)

They clean it every day, towels are so soft, sheets as well. It's luxurious as the best possible hotel, but with the home-like privacy and intimacy. Also very important: they are responsive and trouble-shoot immediately. On top of everything, micro-climate of the ground floor is unbelievable, we didn't turn on the AC because we didn't have to! Sound insulation was amazing, as well. Just one fabulous suite. Highly recommended.DejanSerbia

Kitchen has a large refrigerator with large freezer, stovetop, plenty of plates and kitchenware. The room has AC unit and a nice large enough teras. Do not expect hotel services, because there are none: no bedclothes change and no cleaning during your stay, but you can do the cleaning yourself, there is a mop and broom. The owner was super friendly and so were the cleaning ladies. Although they didn’t speak English very well, somehow we understood each other. The hotel is right in front of the bus stop which is very convenient if you’re coming by bus from Halkidiki. There is a place you can park your car if you’re coming by car. The hotel is not far from the beach, just a 10min walk if not less. We absolutely LOVED our stay there and will definitely come back!
