I loved everything about the hotel but most of all the hospitality of the owners. George, his mother and his wife are amazing!
Breakfast was excellent with many and tasty choices to pick from. The rooms were very comfortable ,very clean and with an amazing sea view. The girls at the reception desk are wonderful.
Boasting an outdoor pool, Aegea Hotel is located in Pigadakia area of Karystos. Set in 2 buildings, it offers tastefully decorated rooms opening out to a balcony with Aegean Sea and garden views.

The room was pretty big and the personnel very kind & extremely helpful. We had a very nice view from the balcony. Also, small size pets are allowed.
Apollon Suites are located less than half a mile from the main square of Karystos, with its stores and taverns that line the harbor. It features a swimming pool.

Karistos is a small coastal town that mostly serves holiday makers from Athens. There are some fantastic restaurants which you will only find if you look carefully on Google! The same goes for stunning beaches - we found them only through searching on Google-earth, renting a car and going in search of them! You will enjoy the interesting culture and history - it is worth the short trip up the very windy mountain/hill-side to mooch around the ruins of the old castle and the stunning views from the top. There is plenty to see and explore and renting your own car is highly recommended (the rental place called *Karistos Marine* - located very close to the Anastasia hotel was absolutely brilliant - so helpful, extremely reasonable and offered a great car which we took all over Evia.

Very nice and very quiet place.
Very nice and very quiet place. Plenty of restaurants for a delicious dinner, breakfast. Ideal for walks and great swimming. Near the beach absolutely no people and also on the beach nice bars with service. Very nice and cheerful. Small fitness where you can practice a few steps from the beach and calmly go to the beach.

Lovely seaside town with tavernas looking out to the marina.
Lovely seaside town with tavernas looking out to the marina. We didn’t have much time to explore but did try out 2 very good tavernas — Filippas for fresh fish and delicious, lightly fried shrimps; other restaurant was Cava d’Oro up a side street. Fresh and delicious food — from the grill and also “lathera mayeurevta”. There is very long and sandy beach on the way out of town, with lots of shade and a taverna. Looked nice but we didn’t have time to check it out.
We loved every single inch of this place! The cutest, most calm place we’ve stayed at. It was so clean, fresh and the interior is 10/10. The nature views around the hotel is so calming and makes you completely zen. The breakfast delivered to your room every morning is superb, and Chrysoula adjusts it to your preferences. The AC is perfect (very important), the terrace upstairs (yes, there’s an upstairs) is a dream. It felt like our own private get away! The ocean is a block away and there are amazing tavernas around the property.
Amazing hosts who really looked after us.
They were really helpful and friendly and know everyone in the village.
The rooms are great, with nice big balconies directly on the sea.
The beach is beautiful but not busy in front of the hotel becaus it is rocky, and you can walk 3 minutes to reach a great beach for swimming.
There is also a great restaurant owned by the hotel and they can make you breakfast in the morning if you like.
Its on the quiet end of karystos so you have a lot of peace and quiet.
Exceptional!!! It is new, it is absolutely beautiful. I travel often and I can easily say it is one of the BEST hotels I have ever stayed in, most definitely the best shower I have had in a hotel. The views are fantastic, the location is quiet but easy walking distance to everything. The staff/owners are so incredibly kind and welcoming. They greeted us with wine and helped us with directions to the beaches etc. I would highly recommend this hotel and if I return to Karystos I would have to stay here.
It is a «maisonette-style» private villa with a spacious balcony where you can enjoy a great view toward the sea. The floors are made from the famous Karystos-stone and the interior reminds elegant accommodations in Cycladic islands. It is a really good choice for the visitors of Karystos! On the positive side is also the fact that the owner Mr. Vangelis is very friendly, polite and supports you in everything you need, which guarantees a very nice staying!
This boutique hotel is relatively new, and it's excellent. The rooms are exceedingly comfortable, including the beds, and the breakfast is one of the best I've eaten at a hotel. They serve it to you in your room, and it's different each morning--though every day features freshly squeezed orange juice (see pic). Lovely place, all around, I'd highly recommend it for a weekend trip (or longer) to Karystos.

Estate - the sustainability angle of repurposing a dove cote and olive grove into a quaint boutique hotel is very relevant in the responsoble evolution of the hospitality market
Rooms - the preservation of the stone and the design strategies were well thought of
Amenity - the estate relies only on its natural environment, stunning during the day and night

It's a paradise in paradise! Evia island is pure beauty and so relaxing. And staying at Lithos Villas you have the whole island just in front of you, sun all day long, beautiful sunrise and sunset, fantastic authentic greek interior and so so so nice people! We fell in love so much! We will be back! 🤍🤍
Brand new hotel, very well designed, with excellent rooms! The owner was fabulous, really polite and friendly, and very helpful too. He gave us the right piece of advice, like where to eat and which beaches to visit. Overall a perfect accommodation, thank you very much!
The villas are beautifully set in a big garden. Karystos is less than 5 minutes by car. The villas are wonderfully designed and are airy and tastefully decorated. Facilities are perfect, there is even a washing machine. We could have stayed forever…
A really great, tasteful, and clean place with extremely friendly and helpful owners. Additionally, a great location with delightful sea view. Will definitely schedule a new stay, and recommend for those visiting the broader area of Karystos
Wonderful stay in the center of Karystos , with our friendly hosts John & Theodora on our arrival. Minimal design, in a quite neigberhood with all the amenities needed! A diamond in the heart of Karystos!
The room, the balcony, the sea view, the sound of the sea, the sea breeze, the bed, and the staff. No traffic. No road between hotel and park and sea. Definitely worth more than a one-night stand.
Great hotel in a quiet location. It had everything needed for a pleasant stay. The owner was very thoughtful, and the property had 3 amazing cats that brought a special charm to the stay.
