I was blown away by the wonderful staff, friendly and helpful. Special thanks to Chrysoula, who took care of us throughout our stay and provided help and advice, e.g. what to see during our relatively short stay. The welcome with lemonade on a warm day was also very nice, as well as the transfer to and from the hotel. Tasty and varied breakfasts, with elements of regional cuisine. Pleasant and clean rooms. Bath cosmetics, even sponges and toothbrushes for those who forget, and an extra towel for the beach.

I absolutely loved my stay at the Margado, from start to finish. We were picked up from the port, which was a lovely touch, and even offered a lift back after our stay. The room was lovely and offered a nice partial sea view (as advertised), and we were treated to a lovely breakfast by the pool each day. Our host was wonderful and very accommodating. It was very useful for us to receive a trails map on arrival. I would 100% recommend the Margado!

Beautiful modern room with big balcony in location very close to the port. Eleni was there when we arrived to show us the room and was incredibly helpful throughout our stay, helping us with transport and information about the island. The room decor and amenities are lovely and it was cleaned everyday. Highly recommend to anyone coming to Sifnos.

The beach. A choice of restaurants.
The beach. A choice of restaurants. Convenient for the ferries. Close to other towns like Apolina and Kastro.
And Sifnos is one of the best Greek islands for being unspoilt, clean, amazing views, lovely villages and very good restaurants. It seems to be a gourmet island, unlike others.

The island of Sifnos is idyllic, To Steno apartments are literally 30 metres from a beautiful Sandy beach, shops, beachfront restaurants and bars.
The port is only a 5 minute walk and there is a bus stop where the bus takes you to other destinations on the island. There are plenty of scooter/car hire shops in the town with competitive prices. The restaurants sell traditional delicious Greek dishes, The Sifnos chickpea stew is very tasty and only about €5 and a local lamb stew is delicious also washed down with a carafe of red wine. The capital of Sifnos is Apollonia and I’d a 15 min bus trip away, it is absolutely beautiful with gorgeous blue domed churches, narrow winding alleyways with amazing shops, boutiques, jewellery shops and restaurants. We went one evening for dinner, it was a good choice as it was cooler and less crowded for walking around the town and all shops are open until 10pm. The restaurants are little more expensive but they are lovely. The last bus returns to Kamares at 22.00 so plenty of time to explore the area.
The apartment was in a perfect location and was super clean and maintained with excellent facilities for tea/coffee, a fridge, breakfast goodies and good wifi connection. Sofia, the host is absolutely lovely and organised an extra night stay for us as we wanted to stay longer!

Kamari is the port for the island, hence it is a convenient place to stay. It is a small port and is not busy or noisy. There are several cafes, restaurants, mini markets, and an overall delightful Greek ambience. The beach is excellent, sandy, gently sloping and spotlessly clean. There are sun loungers and parasols at one end and tamarisk trees and dunes at the other end. Cafes and toilets, Quiet.
If beach life is your main priority Kamares is an excellent choice. If walking is your main priority then perhaps Appolonia or thereabouts would be a more suitable base as it is the centre of the bus system which gives access to the whole island. There is an hourly bus service from Kamares. There are superb waymarked walks throughout the island and a free accurate (!) map and guide thereto.

Good bus service to all parts of the island..especially liked Vathy.

Everything, very friendly staff, rooms immaculate, the shower was a little small bit not an issue . Location adjacent to the beach was perfect, also being 200m from town meant it was quiet and private. The simple help yourself breakfast was great, and the coffee available all day was used frequently.
I can't fault the Hotel and a big bonus was the restaurant, the quality was first class it was affordable and the service friendly and relaxed. All in all we had a wonderful stay at Hotel Boulis.
Recently renovated and spacious house which is fully equipped with a kitchen and laundry. The house is elevated and has a large terrace which overlooks Kamares with amazing sunset views and is a two minute walk to a small cove which is perfect for a morning or afternoon swim. The house is close to the port and only a 5 minute walk to the restaurant, shops and the main beach at Kamares. George is an informative and attentive host.
As the first room we had chosen wasn't to our liking, we were then trasnfered to a bigger and more superior one. It was quite spacious with a small area outside in front of the garden that was quite nice to sit in the evenings.
The location of the hotel was good, as it was walking distance from Kamares. Nice facilities, breakfast was decent.
Staff was friendly and very helpfull.
This was my favorite hotel in all the Greek islands! Our hosts were incredibly nice and interesting people. It was easy to relax at this beautiful hotel and it had great proximity to several good restaurants. it’s a short but steep climb up from the port, but fortunately our host met us and drove us up to the hotel. Without luggage, it’s not a bad walk up!
Lovely family run hotel with well-maintained rooms and super friendly, helpful staff. Its location looking out over the beach and a short walk from the village was perfect and very quiet at night. The rooms were cleaned, the towels and beds were changed every day. There was a good range of foods for breakfast and plenty of it. A lovely relaxing place to stay.
Really lovely hotel at the port, 2 mins walk from the ferry and the "boardwalk" where all the restaurants in town and the seashore are. Amazing team made us feel quite pampered with excellent little extras and an amazing and very generous breakfast. The proprietor/manager is always on hand to help with advice and tips. Would certainly recommend
Stylish and spotlessly clean small hotel, ideally located a short walk from the village centre. The swimming pool and courtesy pickup from the port were an added bonus. Lovely hostess and buffet breakfast. We hired a car (very reasonable off season), toured most of the island and would still have stayed at this hotel. Local
The hotel is exceptionally clean. The owners and staff were extremely helpful and couldn't do enough for us. The breakfast was gorgeous and cooked fresh every day.
The hotel is in an excellent location with fantastic views to the mountains and an easy walk into the marina and village.
Highly recommended.
Very nice appartment. Extremely friendly owner who runs the place. Very good location at the nicest beach on Sifnos. Only few minutes walk to the center of Kamares. From here there is a bus into all major cities/ spots on the Island. Also several car / scooter rentals
Close to the port and main part of town. No problem getting buses to all parts of the island from the hotel. Views of the amazing mountains from our very nice balcony. Very friendly hosts.
Great balcony with sea view from our room , location is perfect , service like a 5 star hotel at a better than fair price with all the amenities PLUS . Home baked cookies were a treat 😁
We really liked the location in the small port of Sifnos walking distance from the ferry yet a peaceful beach (in september) and the family who owns this hotel is so personable....
