There is also the 'market" where you can get fresh fruit, vegetables, herbs, and many household items, as well as clothing, every Wednesday and Saturday. So glad I got to go. If you are visiting northern Greece, Florina makes a great...
If you are visiting northern Greece, Florina makes a great home base. Within 30 minutes to 1 hour, you can reach most of the surrounding villages to visit family or get in some hiking and skiing. There are so many cafes and restaurants, you'll have no issues with finding a a great place to eat...definitely go to the smaller restaurants that offer mezes for a great family style meal. I would recommend parking the car and walking the city...the streets are narrow and congested at times.

Last, but not least, the personnel was incredibly polite and they are an asset to the hotel!
