Great location, with a spacious and very well equipped apartment, with a big terrace with sea, mountain and garden view. Cleaning was done daily. The hotel was located close to the center of Aegiali, to shops and restaurants. The parking place was large. The garden was like a park where you could relax in the shade of the big palm trees and in the company of 3 turtles, 4 kittens and of course of the host, Yiannis, which was very friendly, kind and helpful to us. We would come back any time with pleasure to this location. Thank you Yiannis and family.

A great place to stay. A great beach on the doorstep and several others a reasonable walk away. Loads of eating and drinking places.
Really good for walkers. Some challenging hikes, but also more gentle walks. Usually these are on wonderful cobbled 'donkey' trails.

Such a charming little town.
Such a charming little town. Not as developed as other islands so retains charm and a load of character. Great little tavernas and bars for sunset. Everyone very friendly, very easy to find your way around. The perfect holiday location.

This is a perfect, unhurried location to unwind and just relax. Lots of local food options, two grocery stores, a bakery and various shops and ATMs in town provide everything you'd need. We loved the Limani Restaurant in particular for its food and atmosphere. It has a great menu with several daily specials (meat, seafood, vegetarian and vegan offerings) and we ate several meals there. Nice beach - rather skinny but nice and long and pretty clean. Gets direct sunlight from about 10:00 AM and is a great place to watch the sunset. The population of the town is around 500 so things move at a pretty relaxed pace. While there are several nice tavernas that also offer food I wouldn't say that this is a place to come if you're craving nightlife. Two local villages, Thoralia and Lungarno which are both less than a 10-minute drive are packed with old-style Greek and definitely worth visiting. Lots of hiking trails of varying difficulty in the area. People were extremely friendly and welcoming.

There's not much to see or do on Amorgos but Aegiali is an enchanting place to kick back and chill for a few days. Nice beach with zero hassle to pay for deckchairs and lots of great, friendly restaurants and cafes, all at decent prices.
If anything the quiet and lack of culture got a little tedious - it would be an ideal place to get to know an engaging new lover or write that novel!

The beach is beautiful and at this time of year it’s easy to find a place of solitude. The vistas are spectacular, with winding roads and adjacent villages dotting the horizon. The cats, familiar residents of all Greek isles are well fed and healthy, as are the goats. The bars over look the Aegean and restaurants line the alley ways. The village is a 16km drive to the Chora; the scenic drive well worth it. Most nice hotels are a good hike to the town. You will need a car to explore the mountain villages, with their winding narrow streets and tavernas, although there is a local bus. Our favourite taverna in Aegali is To Limone. Wise to show up early as it gets busy around 7pm and try one of the daily specials. We stayed at Aliori Art Caves, lovingly created, designed and built by Roberto and his wife “Sunday”. An amazing experience on so many levels!

There were good opportunities for walking.
There were good opportunities for walking. The climb to Tholaria and the coastal path to Levrossos in particular. Two restaurants should be singled out for mention: Katinas and Taksidi. The beach at Levrossos is preferable to the one in Aegiali. Chora deserves a visit.
Everything was great. Petradi is located in an awesome secluded spot only 10minutes away from the town of Aegiali. The peacefulness of the place captivated us and you have direct access to the beach with crystal clear water. Breakfast is delicious (don’t miss out on the pancakes) and everybody there really nice and helpful, specially Elli, the manager, who was really sweet and thoughtful and gave us great tips of spots around the island. Would definitely recommend it and hope to be able to come back soon :)
Loved it! The photos are on point, no hidden imperfections of the room. We booked a sea-view studio on the 3rd floor which was amazing! We could watch the sunset and the entire golf of Aegiali. Perfect location with amenities right next to it, available street parking in front of the Studios. The stuff was very helpful and kind and determined to make your a stay a pleasure, with recommendations for shops/beaches/restaurant to go to. If I ever come back to Amorgos surely I'll stay at Aelia again!
A perfect place to stay. Ideally situated no distance from the port, bus stop, tavernas and shops whilst still being peaceful and quiet with beautiful views over the bay. Giannis was the perfect host and very easy to communicate with. The room was spacious with a great bathroom and a balcony looking out to sea. Spotlessly clean. I'll definitely pick Anatoli rooms when I return to Amorgos.
Very cute studio with nice view in the charming village of Tholaria. In our opinion best part of the island. Eva the hostess was very warm and helpful. Levrossos beach is close by which was our favorite on the island, also the nearby Aegiali port was very nice and lively at night. We will stay here again in our next visit.
Absolutely perfect! Can't wait to return to Amorgos and Nostos Studios. The property is a quiet little pension with renovated rooms that are very tastefuly decorated. small and functional kitchen. Great housekeeping everyday. Breezy balcony. Very friendly owner! No English but no problem!
we truly had an incredible stay here! It was a wonderful base for exploring Amorgos. I can’t begin to say how kind and welcoming our hosts were . we absolutely consider them friends now after 5 nights here. I hope to be lucky enough to come back and stay here again someday!
Excellent location. View from room was really good, overlooking the port and the bay of Aegiali. Superb good value breakfast. Sophia met us from the ferry and was friendly and accommodating throughout our 1 week stay. Highly recommended.
no one was there when I arrived. I guess they had not gotten my email that I was coming. I went to the hotel down the hill and they called the manager and they came and picked me up and took me to a place in town and were very kind to me
Lakki village is a perfect green oasis near the sea! I really enjoyed the friendly staff and the peaceful atmoshere in the garden. The hotel restaurant has a beautiful natural shade when you need a break from a hot day near the beach.
Nice hotel run by friendly and helpful owners. Located on the hill overlooking the town close to the beach and restaurants. Great value for the time of year (late September under 30€). I would stay here again.
Karkisia Hôtel is a great place to stay. You have a nice flat with a private balcony with a superbe view.
It s very clean and well maintained.
It s a true hôtel with professionnal staff very kind.
I cannot express to what extent i loved our stay at amorgi studios. This hotel is a gem.
It has perfect location, just above the bay, close to the beach to enjoy every bit of aegiali.
Good place overall, big rooms and a nice terrace with a view over Aegiali bay. You can take a small path between the houses to go there faster (ask the owner).
