Whitehills isn’t a headline tourist destination but this traditional fishing village definitely grew on us. Just a couple of miles along the coast from Banff there’s a lovely coastal walk between the two places and there’s the most excellent friendly pub (Seafield Arms) in the village which does great food. For visitors with young kids there’s an excellent play park down on the sea front. It makes a good base for trips to Banff, Macduff, Portsoy and Cullen.

Interesting old fishing village. Working fish yard and shop. Harbour is now a Marina. No need to leave Seafield Hotel to eat as the menu is excellent. Beer garden suitable for people, children and dogs is superb. A stroll in the village is lovely.

Beautiful setting right on the seafront. The cottage has everything you could possibly need and is very cosy and clean. Throughly enjoyed our stay in Whitehills. Recommend the icecream shop at Portsoy and Rockfish chip shop in White hills too. :)
