The room we were given catered for our needs, both of us very tall and we were given a room in the new wing. Enormous bed and very comfortable.

The room was fabulous as was the bathroom, great shower products.
Staff were very friendly and accommodating.
The restaurant served great food and the cocktails are equally as good.
The view from the restaurant was exceptional.

Originally a 17th-century coaching inn, The Mercure Banbury Whately Hall is set in its own gardens and has a croquet lawn. It has an on-site restaurant with free Wi-Fi, a bar and free parking.

We have used this hotel on a few occasions when visiting Banbury.
Staff are always very professional and polite.
Rooms are of a decent size and well presented
Prices are very reasonable for the central location.

We tried the nearby Falcon gastro pub (In Good Pub Guide)..very good. Property is just inside the Cotswolds. We visited two very good nearby National Trust properties - Upton House and Farnborough Hall.
Some of the roads are a bit narrow but that is expected in rural parts of the UK,
