I went for the local comic con, hotel was right on the doorstep of the con so I didn't have to walk far and they were cosplayer friendly.
Would recommend to other cosplayers for future comic cons.
Very helpful when we had trouble finding bags for some of the stuff we had bought.

Great history of Lever brothers and the establishment of Port Sunlight. The museum is definitely worth the visit as is the Lady Leverhulme Art Collection. Everything is easily walkable and food in the Bridge is above average.

We have been to Port Sunlight many many times and love the village. For people who have the time, try and book a walking tour of the village via the Port Sunlight museum, brilliant for an insight into the history of the place. The Bridge Inn is ideal for a drink or pub food. Hulme Hall have craft and flea markets every Sunday. The garden centre has a café inside and considerable plants available. There is a Port Sunlight museum which tells the story of Lord and Lady Lever and their dream to build this unique village. Peaky Blinders had Aunt Polly's house here. The major attraction is the Lady Lever Art Gallery, absolutely brilliant, especially for the Romantics artists.

Landed here as an emergency stop over with a absolutely no idea what the area had to offer. What a lovely place it is though! Clean and tidy with picturesque buildings, lovely walks and finding some deck chairs on the village green(assume) was so lovely.
We only wandered about for 1 afternoon but it was very beautiful.
The cottage was very conveniently situated near to the railway station, especially if travelling by public transport. Also close to every part of Port Sunlight, making it easy to visit all areas of this unique village. Port Sunlight is such a fabulous and picturesque Village - a photographer's dream! A step back in time to life in the 1800s. James was an amazing and generous host and his home is delightful and very comfortable indeed. We plan a return visit in the future.
Affordable. Very friendly, helpful staff, nice big room (no. 19), comfy bed. Lovely atmosphere, being a pub. Bath, basin and toilet sparkling clean, best I've seen anywhere. Port Sunlight is very convenient for the rest of the Wirral and getting into Liverpool.
A beautiful stylish and historical home. Very comfortable. The owner was exceptionally helpful. Great location to explore Port Sunlight. A must for fans of architecture (and soapmaking). Very handy to have a drive way to park in, next to the house.
James is a brilliant host - he thinks of everything. So friendly and accommodating.
The cottage has so much character with a modern twist. A great base to explore Port Sunlight, Wirral, Liverpool and Chester. Thank you James 😊
The location - it is right in the heart of Port Sunlight Village and around 10 minutes walk from Port Sunlight rail station.
The hotel retains some interesting period features
Very convenient for visiting Port Sunlight, the best parts of which are on the doorstep. Breakfast was good and staff were friendly.
The rooms themselves were fine.
The room was clean and staff had obviously tried to make it as good as it was possible to be.
Staff were helpful and friendly.
Convenient location for Port Sunlight.
