Breakfast is amazing.
Room is quiet and the blinds did a good job blocking lights, I had a good lie in which I intended to.

Martock is a quiant town with not a lot going on, in fact the White Hart is probably the most lively place there but it is lovely if you want a quiet getaway. It is also about 3 miles away from the golf club and the Deveonshire Arms which, for me, was where a wedding was being held. This made the White Hart perfect for my trip.
We had a meal in the White Hart which was lovely and the rest of the food we ate was at the Devonshire Arms and the golf club, I would reccomend Martock to anyone

Hosts were very welcoming and helpful
Food great and room very comfortable
The village of Martock was picturesque, locals friendly, church amazing, and we were the only tourists around enjoying a non tourist village
A large room with a big double bed and a comfortable stylish sofa. A big screen TV with smart facility, a well-stocked, reasonably priced mini-bar, iron and ironing board, plus direct access to your own outside patio table and chairs. The bathroom was luxurious with quality toiletries. First class breakfast. Ample parking. The staff were friendly and helpful without fail. The hotel is far enough from the main road to be quiet yet close enough for easy access to Yeovil and the facilities there. Will definitely stay here again.
The hotel is elegant and comfortable, the staff offer a 5 star personal service, the fact it’s not super modern is a major plus as it gives it that elegant charm and matches the building. We checked into The Keep initially which was absolutely awful and checked out again, thankfully The Hollies had one room left. The second we walked in we were welcomed with a smile and amazing customer service, the room was beautiful and qe just instantly relaxed.
Great little hotel in a convenient location for the drive from Cornwall back to London. We had the full suite as we were travelling with two children (including our 3 month old baby) and it was perfect for our needs. Very clean, quiet and the kitchenette was very useful. Lovely view from the terrace onto a wildflower meadow. The owners were very friendly and professional.
The staff is brilliant and absolutely professional. Our room was nice and welcoming. We had our dog with us and she was welcome - noting that not many places in Somerset and North Devon are dog-friendly.
We also had dinner at the White Hart Hotel and it was amazing: fresh ingredients, impeccable presentation.
Unbelievable value for money, I will be back here whenever I stay in Somerset. Everything taken care of that you might need, plenty you wouldn't even find in £200+ hotel rooms. On my low budget I felt spoiled and looked after. Can't wait to return.
Excellent cottages. Clean and in a peaceful environment. You have everything available what you require in a self catering cottages. Brilliant modern deco and very helpful hotel staff nearby
Such a warm welcome each time you visit this charming hotel. Family owned and the team here are so friendly and very efficient.
Great location for exploring the area too.
