Location wonderful: sea view and a few minutes walk to both the beach and the canal. Lovely studio apartment with commanding views. Great value for comfort and amenities. Angela went out of her way to accomodate my vegan diet with respect to the continental breakfast. A gorgeous garden and seating area with many an avian visitor.

Very conveniently located for access to the M6 motorway,...
Very conveniently located for access to the M6 motorway, into Lancaster itself, into Morecambe but also inland into the countryside.
Rooms are the usual fare – clean and tidy but long corridors and a bit soulless.
Food is good.
Remember to register your vehicle registration otherwise you get a parking ticket. We weren't told this and have had to appeal against the ticket. If we lose it's a £100 fine.

I went to university here.
I went to university here. Lancaster is a handsome Northern city. NOT particularly pretty but with lots of architectural interest. The food at 'The Merchants' and 'The Quarterhouse' is excellent - and contrasting. It needs good restaurants and both of these are, in there own way, remarkable. Jay Rayner did a fantastic review of 'The Merchants' in The Guardian. He was right. Brilliant food in a nice setting right in the middle of town and also amazing value. It is 'pub prices' for really sophisticated, but 'wholesome' food. BOTH MUST survive, please.

I lived in Lancaster for almost 20 years and I love it.
I lived in Lancaster for almost 20 years and I love it. I still live locally and I went to the hotel as a reward/treat to myself after a significant loss in my life. Lancaster is quite a compact city which is crammed with history and culture and independent shops.

Had a guided tour of the castle which was very interesting.
Had a guided tour of the castle which was very interesting. We also visited the Abbey adjacent. We also like the promenade walk along the River Lune which is easily accessible from the hotel. Lancaster is built on hills so for the mobility limited it can be difficult to walk around. We drove directly to the castle car park for blue badge holders. We ate all meals in our hotel.

Lots of interesting buildings.
Lots of interesting buildings. People really friendly, good variety of shops. Went to a lovely sports bar facing the police station, decor amazing cocktails good too. Lots if restuarants to chose from had a lovely Turkish meal just up road from JD sports .seen some good talent at open mic bar . Will definitely recommend a visit to Lancaster I was pleasantly surprised.
We had a lovely night here for a family gathering. The rooms were modern and very clean. The courtyard area was perfect for meeting up for drinks and breakfast. The hotel doesn't do a formal breakfast but, cereals, milk, juice, tea, coffee, yogurts were all provided in lovely baskets in the room and can be taken to the courtyard to eat. You can order a breakfast from a local cafe too. The location is marvellous, being very close to the city centre. The staff were all super helpful. Pay and display carpark next door.
we really loved the modern and comfortable environment of the holiday home. The holiday home provided excellent cooking facilities which enabled us to eat in. The accommodation was situated in a beautiful and quiet area of Lancaster. We were able to walk into the city centre along the canal which took only 20 minutes. The place was very clean and we slept well in the cosy bedroom. The owners were really friendly and helped solve any queries we had effectively and efficiently. We can’t wait until we go back.
The room was very comfortable, especially the bed. The house was very clean and inviting. There was also the option of the bathtub. Fran was very nice in communication, and was also flexible with the check-in when I asked. The check-in itself is done with a key safe, which is great for odd times and you don't have to bother anyone. If you need to be close to the university it's a great area, though the city centre isn't too far from the accommodation either. Overall good stay for the money. Would recommend.
Very friendly staff, beautiful room, great facilities. The food was delicious, My wife had the salad super bowl which was amazing, so many flavours. I had the gammon which was tender and very tasty, and best of all, excellent value for money. Good selection of beers in the bar and even though it's a big space, it still had a cozy atmosphere. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely return next time we visit Lancaster.
It is convenient for a driver to use the facility as it has provided parking and makes life easier than trying to find a parking in town... The University is also accessible by bus, so it makes it all fine for people now willing to drive to town.
The rooms themselves are convenient, and access very easy.
The breakfast area is not in the hotel building, but it's not very far at all. It has a decent choice of food.
Everything.
Location in the countryside.
Easy access to Lancaster University by car.
Lovely ambiance
Friendly and helpful staff
Really good pub menu. Lunch and breakfast great.
Lovely cosy room perfect for single or couples. Nice decor, v clear and comfortable.
Better than most places to stay in the area and good value for money.
It's a pub with rooms rather than hotel but oh so comfy.
A lovely hotel in a great location in Lancaster (only a few minutes walk from the station and close to town). The inn has great character and is cosy but also luxurious - very comfortable beds! The pub part of the inn is great as well - good drink and food and a buzzing atmosphere.
The staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend.
Very friendly owner with lots of advice of what to see and where to eat. Super friendly breakfast lady who couldn’t do enough for us. Free parking on the street or behind the hotel in a car park. We arrived on a Sunday so the car park was empty but it is also used by the industrial estate so was full when we left on Wednesday.
The reception, room and service staff were all very good. The location is very good and there is a very pleasant walk along the river Lune behind the hotel either into Lancaster or out into the countryside
It was our second time staying at the Crows Hotel. The location is very convenient for the centre of Lancaster, including the station, and the room is very comfortable. The kitchen area is very useful.
Location is ideal for visiting Lancaster University.
The breakfast was amazing, probably one of the best I have had at a hotel.
Spa facilities and the common area of the hotel were all excellent.
The hotel is way above what you would expect, a lot of small differences that make the difference, Beds are really comfy, easy to control heating in each room and the staff are extremely pleasant
I liked the breakfast at Wetherspoon's next door. Good food and great prices. I liked the location - convenient to everything.
Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful.
