Room was well laid out and clean. The location was ideal for my travel to work. The option of being able to "take away" breakfast was great.

It is a nice place and the food is good. Lovely cider. The rooms, which are purpose-built and outside of the main building, each with private access and parking close by, are excellent. The owner is a very nice helpful man.
One can walk up a short lane and hill behind the pub to see castle remains, fantastic views and access to the adjacent country park on the Downs.
