    Hotel is fantastic.

Hotel is fantastic. I stayed for work and used it as a base for business in the North. Quick access to Lakes and M6 which is an added bonus. Room is on point with comfy bed, great bathroom with decent shower and a desk to work. Staff are helpful and friendly and food is really good to.

Everything was good about our stay here, proximity to M6 to break the journey to Scotland. The room was very comfortable and food was good. I would just have liked a healthier vegetarian breakfast option.

    Rural location is good.

Rural location is good. And everything at the hotel was great! Friendly and professional staff, comfortable and immaculately clean room and superb food and service at a reasonable price in the restaurant. Ample free car parking, too. Only slight negative is that hotel is on a busy, fast road with no pavements - so walks from it might be limited for some guests (eg those with several small children or some elderly people).

Very comfortable room. The dining and reception area has recently been refurbished and i was told the plan is to gradually continue the improvements throughout the hotel by the new owners. Very pleasant open area in the dining area just off reception with comfortable seating. This is where we dined both evenings and breakfast. The food was of very good quality, ample portions and very tasty. The staff were very helpful , professional and attended to all our requirements. We enjoyed our stay at Crooklands and will definitely visit again .

Location was great, just off the M6 but far enough away so that you couldn't hear it. The hotel is just across from the Lancaster canal which made for a perfect evening stroll. Bedrooms were roomy and comfortable. Food both at breakfast and in the restaurant was very good.
