The staff are perfect very well looked after. Fooood mmmm fabulous and allwed me to take my starter plated up 2 my room. A 2 course meal 12-95 main as your carvery. Delicious 😋.
Tiny issue which I raised with lovely breakfast team. Our heating didn't work in either room, but thankfully our friends were staying nextdoor/upstairs, 😍.
So it would have been freezing otherwise.
Other than amazing quirky place, great them. Thank you Fi ,& Michael.

A lovely, clean, friendly, vibrant and bustling little town.
A lovely, clean, friendly, vibrant and bustling little town. Nice to see no run-down or empty premises. The views from the High town are spectacular, as are the walks around the castle gardens and the quirky streets both in the town and leading to the low town. The funicular railway is a must. Shops and eateries are in abundance which ranges from coffee, breakfast, light lunch, takeaways, cheap bites to formal dining. The Castle inn provides delicious home cooked food in an inviting cosy traditional pub with low beams. Bridgnorth is well worth a visit, but be warned - you'll want more than a day trip here to sample all it's delights !

Although the room was a twin, it was not the picture on the confirmation.
The hotel was very tired and neglected in both maintenance and cleanliness on internal structures.
I wouldn't stay there again as they have no empathy of requests due to sudden illness. My son and his fiance had a second room ( I had booked for them ) but unfortunately had a serious bout of covid and was admitted to hospital only wanted to move the date but we were told they don't do that as people 'play 'them. They had already been paid for the room we didnt request a refund!
so people be aware of whom you book with.
Because of no reply from Booking.com either we most likely not book through them either....

It was so pretty and lots of lovely little pubs and places to eat. Also some lovely quirky little shops to browse. Literally everything on your doorstep.
Other towns not too far to get a taxi or take a nice walk. People very friendly. Loved it.

It's great for It's historic steam railway.
It's great for It's historic steam railway. The thing that was disappointing was the cliff railway out of use. People depend on it to get to high Town. Hopefully it will be in working order soon.

Bridgnorth is great for a its shops, eateries and pubs.
Bridgnorth is great for a its shops, eateries and pubs. The Seven Valley Railway goes from Bridgnorth to Kidderminster run by fantastic volunteers and provides a great day out. We ate in The Legend, a Chinese, The Shakespeare and Wetherspoons. The meals were ok in each. Wetherspoons being the cheapest.

Loved Bridgenorth and all its quirkiness.
Loved Bridgenorth and all its quirkiness. The buildings were super. Took you back to a different timne. Loved the quirky little streets that went off and showed you haow all of the town is used up.
Bit dissapointed not to be able to go on the lift on the side of the cliff. Will go back to go on that and also to go on the steam engine trip with afternoon tea
Beautiful cottage ..... comfortable and very tastefully decorated. Located in the centre of the high town with many shops, cafes and restaurants close by. A short walk to the Steam Railway. The x2 parking permits were very welcome and the pay car park was a 2 minute walk away through a passage for when parking spaces weren't available (though free parking from 6.00pm until 8.00am and payment can be topped up via a mobile phone app).
This was the second time we have stayed at the Old Post Office
It is located in Low Town, which has a selection of pubs and restaurants
High town with it's multitude of Pubs and restaurants is a short walk across the Bridge and up via the steps, cartway or if you're not feeling energetic, via the Cliff Railway
Lovely selection of breakfast items, fruit and fridge items were there when we arrived
The location is perfect just off the town centre.
The owner has made the cottage very homely with everything you need for your stay.
Instructions & information provided were great.
Bridgnorth is a lovely town with loads of pubs & cafes.
Best pub we found was the Shakespeare inn.
Best value pub for drink was The Bear, £10 for two pints of Bass & two glasses of wine.
Would definitely visit again.
The property was comfortable and well equipped. It had everything I needed for a short stay. The location was peaceful and convenient for the town centre, which is only 15 minutes walk away. The host was friendly and helpful and responded very quickly to a question I asked. I also very much appreciated having a designated car parking space, as parking in Bridgnorth itself can be challenging.
Good location from a central point of view to Bridgnorth town centre, it's amenities and places to visit. All were within easy walking distance. Accommodation was beautifully renovated and although the kitchen was small it had everything we needed for our weekend stay. Beds were very comfortable and the wet rooms in two of the rooms were excellent.
Great location in the centre of Bridgnorth. The room and ensuite were compact but clean and comfortable, with everything I needed, including a good heater, toiletries and a well-stocked hospitality tray. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Great breakfast - a generous size and tailored to your tastes, thank you.
Great location right in the centre of town. Lovely property part of a major development for Bridgnorth. Stable bar not currently open during the week but the Atrium does superb food and great drinks selection staff friendly and helpful
Lovely hotel with lots of charm and is situated in reach of pleanty of amenities.
Has ample parking to the rear.
My room was clean and compact and the bed was comfortable.
Excellent evening meal and a very nice breakfast.
The staff are great! The breakfast is lovely and a good variety. The hotel is located in the lower part of town, this is not an issue as the top part of town is easily accessible.
