The room was comfortable, perhaps a little too warm even after turning down the thermostat.

The inn was a very warm welcoming place to stay in a quiet and small village in East Yorkshire, the staff were all exceptionally helpful, but the location was still not far from my appointments on either day.
My room was very well presented, clean and nicely appointed.
The evening meal was excellent and very generous portions.

Great location & facilities for our visit to family in Driffield
Visited Bempton RSPB centre & great experience seeing all the Puffins & sea birds
Handy for York which we did as weather poor on one day
Comfortable, quiet
rooms in Edwardian style that felt more like a home than hotel.
Large well equipped bathroom.
Good coffee bags in room, nice toiletries and hairdryer.
Peaceful setting with countryside view.
Interesting meadow walk - strong shoes needed.
Nothing too much trouble for owners - special requests for food for disabled son, and fruity teabags for me to take to room.
Tasty, plentiful meals in conservatory restaurant and option for meals in rooms if required.
The photograph is the view from our bedrooms.
This quirky hotel is in a quiet, secluded, location, ideal for touring East/North Yorkshire. The themed rooms are gorgeous, spotlessly clean and replenished daily. The owners made us feel very welcome and provided us with very hearty breakfasts and an evening meal. The portions are very generous! We enjoyed the grounds and the quirky treasure hunt! Will no doubt return in the future!
The hotel was the most unique place to stay, quite an Alice Through the Looking Glass experience, needs to be experienced to understand just how different it is.
The owners were very kind and give a top notch service to their guests. Please go and stay in this lovely house, and appreciate the thought, beauty and hard work that has been put into it.
Food was excellent. Staff very attentive and obliging. Rooms were all different and well appointed. Lots of quirky aspects in the grounds. Much thought and attention to detail is evident through the hotel.
Food is lovely. Staff really nice. Well positioned. And the shower. Well I’ve stayed in all sorts of hotels around the world and I must say, it’s the best shower I’ve had. Room 2. 😄😄😄
