The place is very perfect although it is a hostel. They have several bathrooms and toilets that you can feel like having private restroom. The kitchen is very bit that can support a number of guests. The entire area is clean. Staffs are friendly and helpful. They allow guests to store luggage early

I liked the central location of the Highland hotel and the activities for the children. The Winking Owl Aviemore is by far the best place to eat. It has such a huge choice of dishes at reasonable prices and great choices for celiacs and vegans. The staff at the Winking owl are lovely and there is a great atmosphere.

The town situated within the Cairngorms National Park in the Highlands of Scotland. There are beautiful views of all the mountains, forests and lakes. Not far from the legendary Loch Ness, it's hard to spot a monster. Amazing fogs.

It was very snowy when I arrived on Christmas day and the town was quiet. Its a pleasant place and a great stop off point to explore the area. It has plenty of cafes and restaurants, as well as shops to keep folk happy. But its real beauty is in the welcome and the access to the surrounding areas.

Small Country Hotel, great staff with very friendly relaxed attitude. Food was excellent. Pleasant strolling in fields behind with your pets as dogs and cats welcome. Only a couple of miles from Aviemore where there are plenty of activities. Not to mention skiing!
Altogether a very pleasant stay and would recommend to anyone
The hotel was spotless and the bed/ pillows were so comfortable. The hotel is in a great location right in the middle of Aviemore close to a variety of activities. The food is amazing as was the breakfast and the staff were so friendly and welcoming. We will definitely be returning
We loved our hosts, so accommodating and helpful. The home-cooked breakfast was perfect. The shared kitchen facility had everything needed to host our own meals. The pod was laid out well and the bed was the most comfortable bed of all our hotel stays in Scotland (5).
Hotel was lovely, right in the heart of Aviemore, firework display at the bells on New Year's night was absolutely brilliant, never seen a fire work display as good anywhere in my life, well worth it. Breakfast was awesome and views are 2nd to none.
Excellent staff - super friendly and very welcoming and helpful - they're the highlight of the hotel
Room was big enough and comfy enough - could do with a bit of updating and refresh probably but was absolutely fine especially for the price
First time at High Range. Great location for Aviemore. Had everything we required especially dog walks nearby. Accommodation warm on arrival. And extremely comfortable. Well maintained grounds and surroundings. Would return for more visits.
Lovely hotel with excellent restaurant and pub.
Bed, breakfast, concert in the pub - everything was perfect.
Nice receptionist - very helpful - gave u informations about how to get around Aviemore.
Beautifully decorated, luxurious apartment for four people but with enough space, crockery etc. to entertain more, if required. Great location in Aviemore with many nearby shops, restaurants etc.
Onsite activities great for kids, nice location, Aviemore offers all the services for a short break.
If you decide to dine out with hotel, best to pre book as restaurants fill up fast.
Good breakfast. There is a pool, cinema and ice rink on site.
The staff were attentive throughout the resort. The Italian restaurant pizzas are great. My children love this hotel.
Love the look, feels like staying in a castle. The mountains can be seen from the hotel windows and the food was really excellent. Probably the best breakfast I had in Scotland.
McDonald Resort has a 3 hotels from which to choose along with separate lodges. Amenities are excellent, especially for children. location is in the center of Aviemore
I was many, many times in Aviemore and always stay in hotels, and that was a mistake! Perfect place for holiday ! You can find even board games and lego for kids 😉
The suite we had was great for three. The bathrooms had high quality fittings. The hotel is well-situated for exploring the town. We really enjoyed our stay.
