Front desk helped us book a restaurant at late notice on Easter weekend. We then realised the kids wouldn't like the food and they were very helpful, finding us another restaurant with no complaints. Really appreciated it.

This hotel is the perfect stopover for travelling through France! Perfect hotel with friendly efficient staff, a small spa (great after a long drive), beautiful clean contemporary rooms, secure parking and a rooftop bar with a great wine list and charcuterie boards and small plates. Mâcon itself is not very inspiring so this hotel is the perfect refuge! We have visited several times now and never disappointed. What a find!

Whilst the location of this hotel is very handy with it...
Whilst the location of this hotel is very handy with it being just on the motorway. The condition of the place was appalling. On first sight it looks scruffy, only half the signage worked and it looks like it needs a good coat of paint. The rooms are super basic, which would be fine if they were clean which they weren't. We ended up having to pay for this hotel but we didn't stay as it would have spoiled our holiday.

Excellent location off the motorway and very convenient for trip south to the coast. Bed comfortable and quiet night. Nice restaurants in Macon but had a drink in bar after. Hotel is dated and needs a refresh but you will barely notice if you have been driving 12 hours! Lovely staff.

The apartment was ok, just the smell of sewage is really bad, the entrance door, key area & steps up to the apartments is that bad, you think your going into a ghetto
Macon, I took my wife to the 360 Hotel roof terrace for tge sunset & views over Macon, fortunately it brightened up from the earlier rain.. but the service was a little slow, & trying to pay was taking so long a queue developed of about 12 people.. problem was... 1 person using the only tablet to pay the bill.. nice place though, unlike the open air parking by the river, as my wife & I were too busy looking through the trees to find a space to park my American pick up truck, we then walked off to the apartment away from the entrance, only returning at 08.00 to find a full size market in the car park, & my truck gone... a local helped & showed me the signs at the entrance, No Parking between 00.00 - 12.00.. went to local police station & waited until 09.00, when they opened, they apologised but its my fault, €15 taxi to the compound, & €126 release fee, we left lost 3 hrs.. then caught heavy traffic to & around Lyon... so use tge underground parking

Mâcon is an up and coming town with warm and welcoming people, interesting walks, lovely river side promenades and seemingly a wide variety of good restaurants. We particularly like discovering the little shops dotted all around the central old down. Great city, One to visit again.

Take a trip to Cluny.
The mountains make a dive for the river in a beautiful green carpet of vineyards.
Go see for yourself.

Regret having Sayed there as total cost not comparable ith other hotels in the region a Novotel ND others 2 or 3*
Breakfast was very good, croissants, bread, juices, fruit, yoghurt, tea, coffee, butter, jam etc. It was cosy, comfortable. Short drive to Macon for resturants for an evening meal. The top bed was a bit difficult for our 14 year old son to get into, but he is exceptionally tall for his age. David showed us around briefly and we arranged the time for breakfast. which he dropped off as arranged.
We stayed here for one night on our trip from Paris to the south of France. We absolutely loved our stay at this property and the owners gave us a very warm welcome! We had plenty of space for the two of us, everything was clean and the bed was super comfortable! We also loved the big garden and the jacuzzi - would definitely stay here again!
We have stayed here 3 times now whilst on route to the south of France, book parking as it doesn’t have many spaces but it is very secure and cheap parking if you book it. It has beautiful decor and lovely rooms. Defientley recommend as a stay. Staff always friendly and very helpful
Our second stay at this hotel ideally located to visit macon and the surrounding area - excellent restaurant right next door that we have eaten in twice now - the food and service is excellent. The hotel has a secured car park (which needs to be booked) which is a real bonus too
The apartment was very well set up and felt spacious. The parking was free and easy. Macon is doing a lot of improvements in the pedestrian zones which looks nice and will look even nicer soon. We had exceptional meals in the area most notably le poisson d’or.
Quiet rooms to the rear of the building after a not very promising street side approach, but a great frontage to the river, and only ten minutes to the excellent restaurant at Maison Maconnaise des Vins. Pleasant and professional welcome on arrival
This hotel is nicely positioned on the river and in the centre of town. Close to the Saturday market and shops and restaurants. Hotel does not offer parking - as advertised so that is fine. We managed to park just across the road for free.
We only stayed for one night to go to south france on the next day. It's a perfect location for a stopover. We got a simple breakfast before leaving, so it was perfect for us. We can also recommend the burger bar nearby. :-)
This hotel is in a great location, easy walk into the old town and the river front, Staff helpful and friendly and a reasonable breakfast.
The parking is very good and truly secure, but must be booked in advance.
Very friendly and helpful receptionist, warm welcome, comfortable bed, all very clean, near Vieux Sts. Vincent and Ursuline museum, parking in front of hotel, river view, good restaurants right around the corner.
Sadly we didn’t get to see much of Macon but the hotel was amazing and the staff were friendly and helpful. The room was large and comfortable and the shower was fantastic! Would definitely stay here again.
Location - city's centre, free parking, well-equipped kitchen corner and bathroom, spacious living-room. Hospitable hosts who are working on the development of this family run (seems to be) aparthotel.
Hotel is very close from the motorway but not from the city centre. Part of the hotel is a little old and would require refreshment. Room were clean but bathroom clearly need some refreshment.
