Although prepared for the quirky decor, it was still a bit of a shock at first, but it grew on us after a while. The continental breakfast was really good. The pool was a welcome addition.

The countryside was superb and whilst the lanes were narrow, the GPS found the hôtel easily. The parking area was spacious, and other residents friendly and of all nationalités. This hôtel was à real treasure situation in lovely Park Land. If you want to get away..and like calm..this is the place with lovely walks around.

The property is set in its own grounds in a rural area a little off the beaten track. The room was small but equipped with a comfortable bed, tea/coffee making facilities and a private bathroom with shower over bath, wc and toiletries. The room was quiet and the optional breakfast provided everything you could need for the day ahead. Evening meal, again optional, was good food with ample choices and pretty good value for money. There is car parking on site in the grounds and both indoor and outdoor seating areas.

Actually I am writing about the town of Sees just down the road. Great little Saturday market and a church that was definitely worth looking at.
Parking in the town was a bit hit and miss as it was market day but it was well worth the effort.
A really nice place to break your journey if you happen to be staying over night on the Friday.
We didn't stop to eat as we needed to continue on our journey but we hugely enjoyed the brief time we spent there. A bit off the beaten track and all the better for it.
The hotel is in a really quiet and picturesque location. The building has a lot of character and the grounds are really looked after.
The hotel is a little dated but its incredible value for money given the service, character and location. I was really surprised at how nice it was for the price and was a welcome change to the standard economy chain hotel.
Peaceful and quiet, this small hotel and its’ hardworking and very friendly staff ensured our short stay was relaxing and pleasant.
We had a stop-over there before driving further south, and were glad we chose this one.
The rooms are fine, and the food tasty - breakfast was good and the coffee excellent.
We will return and happily stay again.
The room was clean, bed very comfortable and they gave us sheets and blankets as requested. All the staff were very friendly, helpful and efficient. The hotel was peaceful, perfect for a stop on the way south and we found it easily with our satnav. The decor was pleasant and breakfast was great. Dinner was good too with a good wine list.
Dinner was fantastic. The choice of dishes was very good and the food excellent. The service very good. Both hosts were very friendly and proffessional. The hotel is very quiet. That is why we stayed there. This was about our tenth visit and we are always been very well treated.
The hotel is beautiful on the outside, I arrived quite late but was warmly welcomed, bar was shut which at 9 seemed a little early but was served. Helpful manager who spoke good English. The local town is very nice so a good location. Room was a good size.
+ very quiet and secluded countryside hotel in the middle of nowhere
+ in an area with many Chateaus
+ comortable bed and clean room, great breakfast
+ dinner option is great, as there is nothing really nearby
+ free parking
The hotel is very convenient for travellers heading North or South. The grounds are pretty in rolling countryside. The dinner in the restaurant was good, very French. Some nice wines on offer.
Have always loved this hotel having visited many times through the years. The food was excellent, as ever, as was the breakfast provision. will always go back! The setting is idyllic too.
The hotel was in a nice peaceful rural location. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. Excellent parking at the hotel. The service was also very good.
