Very frustrated ! I was travelling back with my son from a holiday in France that was cut short when I had a heart attack
You can see that we booked the INIS Rouen in good faith but on the way we were informed by my GPS that the hotel was inside a low emissions zone
And it would cost us a fine of 350 euros
I messaged the hotel asking what we should do
No reply
I messaged the hotel again - no reply
We booked another hotel and I messaged the Rouen ibis asking them to cancel
They have nothing on their website informing people that this might be a problem
I could not plan the journey as I had not intended crossing France as I am resident in Portugal but as I explained to them I had to get back to the UK for further treatment
I have as yet to here from the hotel although they are repeatedly trying to charge me a no show fee
I believe this to be unfair as to turn up would have cost me another 350 euros
Please cancel this charge !

Good location, needing to stay in Rouen but not the centre, however I believe quite easy to access. We also liked that it had parking and car charging

Honest staff. I left behind important travel documents, etc. in the room safe and by the time I realized it I was already in another hotel located miles away. Novotel hotel staff when contacted was prompt in checking the safe and made arrangements for the documents to be couriered to me. Truly appreciate the integrity of the staff.
