Wonderful somewhat quirky hotel fitted out with ships interiors. Small and very friendly. Lovely helpful staff. Also plenty of artwork by the owner which made it feel very special

The staff were friendly and exceptionally helpful throughout our 2 night stay. The room was clean and bright and although overlooking the main road it was quiet once the shutters were down. The location was excellent just by the harbour and a short walk to the old town. We were able to find a good breakfast out on the first day and on the second we had breakfast in the hotel. The breakfast selection was good. There was a separate stylish guest lounge on our floor which lead out onto a small terrace. We took advantage of the separate paid parking across the road which was secure overnight.

Damion was fantastic. He was professional, helpful, and very patient with our poor language skills. If he is not the manager of the hotel, he definitely should be. He is a great asset to Ibis.

Not so far from the city centre and close to a free parking lot. The host is very kind and careful to the requests. Personally I have appreciated the 70's furniture in the bar: a dive in the past!

The hotel is run by a lovely, very kind and friendly elderly lady. The whol hotel is fiftie's or sixtie's style, very original and nothing you'd find everywhere. Spacious rooms, windows can be opened and there is a garage to keep bikes or cars in.

It was lovely to have a quiet place to stay, even though it’s on a main road. A car is needed to access the main fortified medieval city. Aldi is close by so it was easy to pick up extra provisions. We prefer to self cater for about 75% of our meals and choose an interesting restaurant for lunch when we are travelling for 5-6 weeks.

Concarneau is a lovely town, lots to see.
Concarneau is a lovely town, lots to see. Only problem is parking, nightmare. It spoiled our stay, and my daughter who was there with her family had her car towed away. No indication that she should not have parked where she did.
The police was not helpful!! Fortunately she spoke french, it would have been much worse !!

nice breakfast (homemade jam, pancakes)
good bedroom, bathroom clean and neat, tidy
towels available
parking space at the property,
quiet surrounding
close to Concarneau ("ville close" worth a visit and good restaurants as well)
follow the road to Concarneau "ville close"; there is a large parking space pretty nearby
- steep roof at 1 side of the bedroom and in shower bathroom, mind your head! :-)
- watch out for opening hours of some restaurants. Some of them are only open around noon and in the evening (as from (18h00)19h00), not during the whole day.

The walled city was pleasant and has lots of touristy shops. Les Sables Blancs beach was a popular spot for windsurfing and kite surfing. We were there during the pandemic and national curfew in March 2021 so most restaurants were closed although some had a takeaway service. There is a Friday morning market in the town center.

We visited Concarneau out of season and as one would expect a lot of restaurants and shops were closed. Concarneau lacked the choice of quality restaurants and sadly demanded no more than an afternoon visit.
Dinner at Les Grands Voyageurs was underwhelming and the Moules Mariniere tasted like old mussels cooked in dish water.

Stunning place, fabulous food and great service everywhere...
Stunning place, fabulous food and great service everywhere we went! Arrived on market day, (Friday) the place was heaving, the market was fabulous, loads of great quality clothes and produce. It’s a very easy place to get around as very flat. We had fabulous food and service for dinner at Le Porte et le Vin. Next time we will stay longer as we just had one day to explore this amazing place on our way down to the Vendee. Do not miss this location!
We loved our hosts! The apartment has a view of the sea and it is in a fantastic location. We fell in love with Concarneau and walked all over the village. Madame and Monsieur couldn't be nicer or friendlier. They made sure that our needs were met and recommended some restaurants. The apartment is well-stocked with a lot of brochures about available sites and attractions. It was a perfect stay and I wish we could have stayed longer!
The property was clean, centrally located to the center of town, tastefully decorated with an amazing location directly in front of the waterfront. The host Christine was lovely, meeting us with the keys and very helpful . Wonderful property for a couples to stay. Very comfortable stay Merci Christine! As a bonus Concarneau is a beautiful little city, will definitely like to come back.
First things first: Concarneau is lovely and the location of this hotel is great. It is right in the heart of town (although this means it is very noisy at night). Our room was light and airy at the front of the hotel with three windows, 2 with balconies, and a sea view, but with an odd (and very dated) bathroom and toilet built into the corenr of the room.
Nice hotel a little outside the city centre, but very close to two of the beaches. We had a pleasant two floor family room with a stunning sea view and were very happy about that.
The hotel has a pool and a small sauna and we enjoyed that a lot too as well as the bar area with the billiard table.
Great location at port. Small hotel very well organized, super tidy, and clean. Wonderful breakfast with fresh squeezed orange juice and great coffee. Seemed well designed and recently remodeled. Everyone was very pleasant and helpful. All five of us enjoyed our three rooms.
Great hotel with a lovely host. Made to feel very welcome, as provided with loads of information on what to do during the stay in the area and beyond.
A stone throw from the closed town and the eateries. Brilliant location.
Great value for money, highly recommended.
Beautiful location near restaurants and our hosts Blandine was exceptional and had the apartment ready for us earlier than was expected and offered us an extra day she was lovely and caring and we most certainly would love to stay there again
Lovely farmhouse property in a rural location but only about 10 minutes dive from the centre of Concarneau. Nice gardens to relax in and a comfortable room. Well presented and tasty breakfast and friendly and helpful owners
The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The hotel had a lot of charm. I appreciated that the parking was free, and easy to get to. I would definitely stay here again if I ever return to Concarneau.
Helpful couple who run the villa. Very lovable. House is fantastically furnished. The opposite of anonymity of a hotel. French breakfast with homemade yogurt. Delicious. A stone's throw from the sea
Quiet family houses area, short walk to the sea or a grocery store or to the ferry to the city center. Spacey compared to hotel rooms, equipped with kitchen tools and devices. Parking no issue.
