Very clean property in a convenient location (and a great bakery just down the street). Urcel is just minutes away from Laon so a great option to staying in a big city. Chemin des Dammes historics sites just to the south.

The hotel is in a beautiful location with every room overlooking the lake . The hotel is now nearly 30 years old andcould do with updating , the bathroom being particularly bad . The rooms have a kettle and a fridge , a plus point and the beds are comfortable The restaurant is good with much outside seating bythe pool if required .However , the price of breakfast is ridiculous , 16 eurps per person , I think. THe bar prives are lso pretty steep. However , the location more than makes up for the other shortfalls.johnUnited Kingdom

Although a small hotel, it feels very open and spacious. The restaurant is also very good and the service was excellent. There is a Center Parks across the lake and of course the golf course nearby. We were upgraded to a better room which was good. The room was large and the view over the lake was lovely. The bed and bedding were very comfortable. It was generally quiet and tranquil.
