The location was wonderful, we walked to the beaches and Museum. Aramanches has a wonderful history, enjoyed the shops, staff recommended a local restaurant which was wonderful with local dishes and views of the beaches. The morning buffets were delicious, especially loved discovering their Homemade Teurgoule.
We later relaxed with wine, cheese and Bread in the outdoor sitting area.
Facing the sea and the famous museum of the Allies Normandy landings of 1944, The La Marine Hotel enjoys the best location of the area fitted in a beautiful bay between two steep rocks.

Really nice and probably underrated village that doesn't seem to be on the tourist radar. Has everything you need, though beware of course the only grocery store closes very early particularly on Sundays.

The museum was really interesting, plenty of tourist shops and places to eat.We spent a morning there which was enough to see what we wanted as this was just a short stop enroute to other museums/d-day beaches.

We stopped in this location as we were visiting the D Day sites and memorials and this is a PERFECT location for this. A 5 minute wall has you on the beaches and your are within 30 minutes drive of pretty much everything you might want to visit.
Lovely location, quiet and comfy but we were in off season to the local town was closed most evenings bar 1 restaurant which was poor, especially for France.
If you are looking for a solid location for D Day sites this is a superb choice.

Beutifull apartment, fantastic location very near to the beach. Bed was comfy and lots of equipment in the kitchen for cooking. Just wish we could have stayed longer. We will definitely return next year.

The breakfast is ok with choices of cereals ,cold meats, cheeses, hot food consists of scrambled eggs and bacon, which is mostly just warm. Good choices of teas and coffee. But after a few days it all becomes a bit the same

Arromanches-Les-Bains is perfectly situated to explore all...
Arromanches-Les-Bains is perfectly situated to explore all the places of interest without staying in a town. Having the beach on your doorstep is relaxing. My only complaint is that the restaurants are expensive and touristy as are the shops.

The staff were brilliant in every respect and could not have been more helpful. The hotel and restaurant are modern, clean and really well thought out. There are lots of little touches which made our stay really enjoyable. The parking is brilliant and right in the middle of Arramonches. We stayed for 2 nights and did one breakfast and one dinner at the hotel and both were excellent. Also the view from our hotel room was stunning overlooking the beach.
Amazing location, had all the basic utilities we needed, great price and responsive host. Loved being right next to the beach and several restaurants and shops. Cider farms and all the other d'day beaches a short drive away, 20 min from the Bayeux tapestry and only 2 hours from mont st Michel and the cliffs of étretat. A wonderful, (small, simple and affordable were what we wanted) place to stay for a family vacation in Normandy.
The breakfast was excellent and thank you for leaving some out this morning for our early departure. The hosts were excellent. They put tables and chairs in the garden for us to eat our picnic last night. The children loved the animals. Location was good and we made good time to Ouistreham for our ferry. Thank you. They also run an excellent restaurant in Arromanches which we ate at one night.
What a great place to stay. The owners could not have been more helpful or informative. The room was lovely and had the best night sleep for ages. If you are a D Day history buff then this is definitely the place to stay (even if you are not you can't help but become fascinated by the history of the artefacts in the hotel and of Arromanche itself). Great place - loved it!
Great central location, easy to find, quiet and comfortable. Good instructions and communication. Perfect for a few days away.
It's good to recycle so it would be really helpful to have some recycling instructions - there were three compartments under the sink but other than general rubbish, I had no idea what to put where or what can be recycled in France.
I go to Arromanches very often and have lived in various places. This was pleasant, small apartment on the first floor of an older house. Fourteen stairs, no problem. Nicely furnished. A short walk to the shop, the center, the ocean. The staff is nice, helpful, communicative. One of the better accommodations in Arromanches.
Fabulous location, in the centre of Arromanches, with the museum only a few steps away as well as all the shops and restaurants.
The hotel is wonderfully quirky with artefacts, books and pictures all to do with aviation and D-day. The breakfast room has to be seen to be believed!
Lovely hosts, very helpful.
The hotel is right on the sea front overlooking the new museum and I liked the character of the building. Check in was fine and the room although a bit dated had all the necessary amenities. Spotless and the bed was so comfortable. The restaurant downstairs serves good food.
Great location to points of interest, restaurants, and shopping. Helpful staff. Room was clean, wifi had strong signal, and bed comfortable. I had dinner in the restaurant and my meal was delicious. My stay was an outstanding value
I would recommend Hotel de Normandie.
Fairly large and clean room. Small scale hotel with cosy breakfast. Charging station for EVs.
There was sea view, being it a bit distant. Did opt for the welcome presents in the room: Champagne and chocolate. I would recommend this to surprise your partner.
The location was right in the center of Arromanches les Bains and walking distance to shops, restaurants, and the Day museum. The owners were super friendly and helpful. As pilots ourselves, we loved the aviation theme and memorabilia throughout the hotel!
The view from the family suite was perfect! The beds were super comfortable and the room was very clean! The breakfast was served hot and it was absolutely delicious. The staff was very sweet to my family. Very close to surrounding monuments in Normandy.
There was no meal option at this hotel, but this was not a problem. I joined my friends for breakfast at Hotel du 6, where an excellent French breakfast was served. Each evening we had dinner at a brasserie in town.
A very nice little local family run hotel with excellent service and a nice little bar. The location is excellent. It was nice not to stay in a faceless corporate hotel. I would definatly stay there again.
Transferred to Hotel La Marine. Very nice one. Right in front of Gold Beach. Very courteous hotel staff. Breakfast is good. Small Room and bathroom with a seaview. This review is valid for Hotel La Marine.
Close proximity to the sea and middle of town. Good location to explore Normandy Beaches. Lots of space, great washing facilities, and our favorite place in our 3 week European holiday.
The hotel is a museum. The owners are very proud of their hotel and of their collections, and very happy to tell visitors about it.
Breakfast was excellent.
