Dinner was terrible...re-heated chicken and fries. Room door lock was extremely hard to open...would have burned to death in a fire for not being able to unlock door from inside fast enough. Located at truck stop...seemed over priced compared to other hotels we have stayed at in Madrid and St Jean Pied de Port.

The Welcome was so nice and the renovated 400 year old farmhouse is beautiful! An added treat is that we were able to have our Camino clothes washed AND dried, a real treat! The store next door has so many great things to snack on or make a lunch or dinner from. Txantxorena was one of my favorite places when I needed to be spoiled on the Camino! This would be an excellent hostel for student groups, especially co-ed trips. Super clean, excellent beds, showers, bathrooms, and kitchen.

Because of the heat it was always going to be an uncomfortable night, but provision was made with a fan in the upstairs room. Be aware that this accommodation is really aimed at pilgrims doing the walk so it's not a holiday hotel. For our stay, though, it was what we needed on our road-trip back to the UK.

She invited pilgrims in for tea who had no place to stay in Zubiri and called taxis to take them into Pamplona. So very kind. The room was clean, beds were comfortable, lots of hot water.
