Pleasant and relaxing stop along the Camino trail (if one doesn't wish to stay in the major centers and towns). The hostel and hostel restaurant was relaxing and the food and drink was very good.

O Pedrouzo was an easy place to stop along the Camino, with a lot of accommodations and restaurants. While the Camino does not run through the town, it is barely a 5 minute walk to enter the parts of town with accommodations.

This was our last stop prior to arriving in Santiago. O Pino, delivered, a good few places where to eat and have a drink, buy some gifts, and the locals were very nice.
The town isn't very big but is very pleasant and calm which, as you walk the Camino, tends to be what you need and look for.

One Hostel next to the other albergue or hotel.
One Hostel next to the other albergue or hotel. And inbetween restaurants and bars... A town you have to walk through on your Camino - nothing to see... nothing spectacular... just the last stop-over before reaching Santiago de Compostela...

Perhaps I saw it at its worst, a public holiday.
Perhaps I saw it at its worst, a public holiday. It felt like a ghost town.
Can’t recall name of restaurant I ate in but it was on the Main Street, had two rooms with long tables in the middle of each room, so as a solo diner I felt fine. Friendly and good food at reasonable prices.
This is a very beautiful new hotel with spacious rooms and a great breakfast that is included. There are a few kinks that need to get ironed out which, in my opinion, would make me give it top scores. The bottom line is when you charge the high prices that you charge, expectations go up. I would not have these expectations had we stayed in a less fancy hotel ( which is how we had been traveling up until this point) I think these suggestions ( see below ) would be quite easy to implement.
This was a nice experience! The service was good. It's a nice size tent that accommodates four guests, each one in its own space and bed. The bathroom is convenient, and bright, but not so clean. They have a pool, which was a good bonus for our stay. However, there is no AC, so during the day it gets really hot, but the temperature lowers at night which makes the room more comfortable to stay in. It is located next to a hotel with a good restaurant.
Very clean and great customer service.
Maria was an absolute star. She saw that we were tired and didn’t want to walk anywhere to get dinner, so she contacted a local restaurant and arranged to collect a meal for us. She bought it back to the hotel and set us up on a little table. It was delicious and very much appreciated.
She also did our laundry, washed & dried and delivered back to our room within a few hours.
A beautiful stop on the Camino. The mother, daughter, and aunt team that run the hotel are lovely and very welcoming. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and have wonderful showers (very much appreciated after a long day on the trail). The hotel itself has a unique design and the space was enjoyable both inside and out. Plus the food was excellent. We would absolutely stay again!
This is my 2nd time doing el Camino de Santiago and my 2nd time staying here. The owner is very welcoming. The hotel is named 9 de abril because of his son birthday and all of the rooms are named by their family’s birthdays. Wifi worked perfectly. Hot water and extremely comfortable beds. Can’t recomend this place enough.
The location is good, room is spacious, staff is friendly. My room is a good view to the hills with sunset view.I think it is a good choice in the town. They have lift that help us for moving the luggage.
There are restaurants, supermarket just around the hotel, we will stay there again if we visit Pedrouzo again.
A very good place to spend the night after a long walk on the Camino just before you arrive to Santiago. they have a gorgeous pool, though it was not heated you can dip your sore fit in it. very friendly staff and have a bar and you can order good food from two restaurants in O Pedrouzo.
OMG! If the rating for this property was based solely on the staff, it would be 100%. Best treatment I've received from a Hotel Staff member. She was so sweet and caring... loved her! Highly recommended just based on this.
Clean and warm, kind...Everything was perfect.
I liked the tea in the kitchen. Thanks 😊
I liked the washing machine and the dryer.
Most people stay in O pedrouzo but I stayed A Rua because of this albergue.
The hotel is on a quiet street close to the Camino and not too far from downtown. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and quiet, with a nice window looking out on the landscape.

+ large room and beds
