We stayed here for a quick overnight and layover to see Gibraltar. Easy walk across the border from here and a nice central location in town with nearby parking. Accommodations are basic, but we got a good nights sleep!

The room was large, very nice, and comfortable, with a balcony that I wasn't expecting. The breakfast was excellent, with many different options (and an orange juice squeezer!). The location was quiet enough, and a short walk to Gibraltar.

I highly recommend these apartments - spacious, comfortable, with own garden.
The hosts are incredibly friendly. A bottle of wine, sweets were waiting for us. In addition, when the owners saw that we had arrived with the dog, within five minutes they brought wonderful bedding and dog biscuits! Everything was perfectly clean, cal calm and comfortable.

I liked the openness , the palm trees, the centenary Draco tree, the Mediterranean vegetation, the lovely sandy beach and lovely sea, the proximity of the market and of the frontier with Gibraltar and the friendliness of the people ready to help and chat.

Beautiful coastline.
Beautiful coastline. A wide variety of restaurants and cafes at very reasonable prices. A surprisingly lovely town with many pretty squares,, interesting architecture and pleasant pedestrianised town centre. It exceeeded all of our expectations. We had stayed in La Linea primarily to be able to visit Gibraltar on foot - but we eventually chose to spend more time than planned in La Linea.
There is an excellent street market on a Wednesday.

Located at a perfect spot to cross over to Gibraltar without having to pay the ridiculous hotel prices there! The rooms were cosy, quiet and comfortable, the entire apartment was homely. Loved the kitchen and the serving window, I was able to keep an eye on our daughter without keep having to leave the room whilst cooking dinner! Parking was literally right on the door stop which came as a relief considering La Linea can be a difficult place to find parking. We will be back no doubt!
Good location. Very convenient for visiting Gibraltar less than 10 minutes walk to border and La Linea bus station only 5 minutes away. This is a cheaper alternative to staying in Gibraltar. Also to be noted for anyone flying out of Gibraltar is that from here it's just a 10 minute walk to the airport terminal - closer to the airport than much of Gibraltar.
huge breakfast buffet with enormous variety; fridge and coffee facilities in room; balcony overlooking Rock of Gibraltar, with table and chairs on balcony; parking in garage under hotel for only 9 euro/night; within walking distance of Gibraltar border and pedestrian area/eateries of La Linea; friendly English-speaking staff; great value for price
Great location, brilliant and help staff and the hotel was really clean and comfortable. If you are looking to visit Gibraltar but don't want to pay the hotel prices in Gibraltar, this is a great hotel to stay, usually half the price and a 3 min from the Gib border. Also ideal for staying in the south of Spain in general.
La Esteponera is a cheap and cheerful place to sleep for a night or 2 in La Linea, very close to taperias and Gibraltar airport.
As a solo traveller you can't beat it for price and relative comfort. It's not a 5 star but clean and tidy with helpful staff.
The room was nice and location not far from the centre nor from the border with Gibraltar, which is why we came here. Sometimes free coffee and tea at reception, also a microwave to heat some food.
great location, Center City, all the restaurants and caffees were really close.. Quiet street. View to GIBRALTAR from the bed :),
Walking distance to Gibraltar border ( about 10 minutes away).
Fantastic location for both Gibraltar and la linea. Great communication from the owner. Good air con, every thing you need for an overnight stay. View of Gibraltar rock! Great value too.
Great views of the rock of Gibraltar from two balconies and a rooftop. Close to the freeway and easy street parking, so can easily use as a base to explore the surrounding area.
great location, clean, close to Gibraltar, the bus station, and restaurants. priced competitively. good laundromat attached. I would happily stay here again.
