We stayed only for one night, but we absolutely loved our experience in pension Cech. Clean, good location, spacious room with a little kitchen. The bathroom looks like it was renovated not a long time ago. The very cute little yard where we could have dinner without bothering our children, who wanted to stay in a room. I can totally recommend penzion Cech.

Location is second to none, quiet yet a stone's throw to centre and Castle,, room large enough, matrasses and bedding 5star , bathroom 21st century, and breakfast tasty with large selection od hot and cold meals including freshly homemade cakes. Bikes kept in locked shed very convenient. Great local top quality wines in the fridge to drink.

There is so much to see in Valtice that one day was not...
There is so much to see in Valtice that one day was not enough for us. If you rush you may get it all in but it would not be enjoyable. We traveled in the off season and it was beautiful. We will return in peak season to see the gardens and enjoy all the area has to offer. Keep in mind most things close at 4:00.KathyUnited States - 10Scored 10

Valtice is a small city with a pittoresque main square and a beautiful castle. Most of the buildings have been renovated and kept the historic style. There is a laid back atmoshhere as the town is not too touristic. Cycle tracks are leading through vineyards to Ledice and Mikulov. But there are also good train connections

It is not just Valtice but three cities that are close to each other - Valtice, Lednice and Mikulov. Beautiful castles, huge gardens, a lot to see by walking, riding bicycles or using a horse carriage. Historic sites that are marked by UNESCO as a European garden.
