This is a beautiful boutique quaint gem of a place in Lijiang. It has a stunning view from the dinning room window of the rooftops in Lijiang. It is perfectly located, right in the middle of the Old Town Lijiang. The staff of this hotel is friendly, helpful and with a "I can help you with that" attitude. It was wonderful to spend Christmas here.

The house is very nice and quiet. It's also convenient to go out for food and take a taxi. The boss is very enthusiastic and helps to book tickets for the Lijiang Eternal Love VIP seat. If you book it yourself, it will go to the audience seat. I suggest asking the boss to book it, and they will recommend friends to stay.

As soon as I arrived at the inn, I felt the service was particularly good. I greeted you like an old friend, and the service was thoughtful and meticulous. The environment was even more impressive. The flowers and plants in the yard were beautiful, and the scenery was charming. There was also a cute dog, which I really liked. The rooftop had a panoramic view of the ancient city, and most importantly, I could also enjoy barbecue. It was so enjoyable. I will come back again if there is a chance.

In 20 years the lovely, quiet and quaint town of Lijiang has developed like no other, become a tourist magnet (seemingly mostly for Mainland Chinese tourists) and has almost completely lost its charm... unless you wake up early and walk in the deserted streets at sunrise (before 8am). From morning onward it is choking with tourists, even in low season (can't imagine high season !!), discos at night become restaurants during the day, and the whole place is just guesthouses, retail shops and restaurants. Even old ladies selling strawberries can't give change on 20 yuan and ask for payment by AliPay or WeChat Pay!!
Shuhe and Baisha are no better, victim of their "heritage" status that has completely destroyed the soul of those places.
Luckily, with electric cars and electric scooter the air is fairly pure and the sky still blue. It makes for nice photos, but forget originality. A very good example of a UNESCO Heritage site that has become a victim of its success... go and visit before it's even worse, but in low season please............

The staff were fantastic.
The staff were fantastic. In particular the manager Joye accommodated every request we made and did it with a smile and genuine sense of friendship.
We needed some complicated forward planning and both travel and accommodation reservations to be made. Mr Joye assigned a very nice, intelligent and competent young lady named Cassie who did an amazing job and we are now traveling again with all of her advice and recommendations proving to be excellent.
We would throughly recommend using this, and most of the staff speak English.

It was a nice ancient town to walk round and was very picturesque.
The good thing was that it was car free. Unfortunately the shops sell most of the same things. The places to visit around Lijiang were easy to visit by car.

Lijiang is a wonderful town.
Lijiang is a wonderful town. A great place to get a glimpse of China's past. The Local Naxi people are colourful and friendly. Beautiful sights all within walking distance of the Old Town. Highly recommended.
Great Yunnan traditional food in the Old Town at "Yun Xue Li" (Yunnan Snow Lijiang) - 云南省丽江市古城区七一街兴文巷95号
A great vegetarian buffet (at only 18RMB per person) in the new town is Auspicious Vegetarian Restaurant Building 6, Jinkai Plaza Complex Building, Gucheng district. This is about 10 minutes walk from the North gate of the Old town.
Location was perfect for visiting the ancient town. Breakfast was good. The layout of the hotel was interesting and liked that there were several entrances into the old town. Staff were attentive especially Kokole (? spelling) who cleaned the three rooms we occupied. On the last night, she even left the door to the safe opened as a reminder that I had items in the safe. Very thoughtful. The hotel compound was beautiful and well maintained. Shame there were no balconies to sit and view the gardens from the upstairs rooms.
This accommodation is located very close to the North gate which is very easy to access from the main road. There’s also local tricycle service to deliver the luggages to this place( not free). The other entrance leads you the old town, very easy to find restaurants and shops.
The place is very clean, cosy and nicely decorated. The accommodation staff was very helpful about providing information and and helping us to book a tour, rent a car. We had very good experience at Jianshe Inn.
This Inn is inside Lijiang Old Town, up high in the top of the hill of the old town. Nicole has been very friendly and great in communication about the weather and transport even before we arrived. The free hotel pickup from Lijiang Train Station has been super helpful and convenient. Breakfast is included which is made to order. Very easy access to Lijiang Old Town, with all the amenities and restaurants. Room is fairly large and relatively clean.
We had a fantastic time here. It is a great place to chill out. It's in a fantastic location as you're already in the old town. The room was very comfortable. Excellent value for money. The main highlight though was that Xixi could not have done more to be helpful: transfer to the hotel, information about a drugstore when I got sick, information about what to do and where to go, she even helped with our laundry. I can't recommend this place enough.
The hotel was near to the North Gate of Lijiang Old Town, a backdoor leads directly to all the shops and restaurants which was super convenient. If you would like to go for short side trips during your stay, the hotel can help store your luggage. The hotel staff are also very friendly and responsive to our enquries, helping us to arrange for airport pick-up upon our request. The room was clean and spacious as well. Highly recommended!
The hostel owners are really welcoming and friendly. They took me to pick cherries and to great restaurants to have breakfast. They also have a cute dog in the yard. The breakfast and dinner are also available, it’s a good chance to make friends.
It’s a really international hostel(I was the only native Chinese visitor there). The hostel is located in a transitional village with a great location close to the Old Town.
The decoration is very stylish, very retro, clean, and complete. It is located near the ancient city of the Old Town of Lijiang. It costs about six yuan by taxi. Chen is very enthusiastic and will introduce the food, drink, and entertainment in Lijiang. His suggestions are very useful, and the service is particularly thoughtful. He has breakfast in the morning. A great check-in experience without any worries
I liked the location, it was close to the railway station, the ancient town, and a good location for other activities in Lijiang. The room was spacious and pretty clean. The breakfast was a basic Chinese breakfast. The staff was kind, and had a couple English speakers. They helped me with booking bus tickets and cars around Lijiang.
I can only say that this hotel is the worst hotel from booking app. The whole Lijiang trip was disappointed because of this hotel and never wanted to go to Lijiang again. The promise of connection was not fulfilled from the beginning. Leaving us even more helpless after a long night on the road.
The room is clean and huge. Though this is located in the Old Town, the amenities and facilities inside are modern and luxurious. The owner who runs this place ensure that the guests are well taken care of. Not to mention there are always fresh fruits, tea and even plum wine available.
Location is very good.walkable to old town
The room is wide and clean.
Staff is so nice and helpful. If you have to leave early in the morning they can help you pack the breakfast to take away.
The location of this hotel meant that we could access the beautiful old town of Shuhe from the quiet 'local' end, and avoid the main tourist area. Great service and delicious food!
So cool place to stay! Staffs and volunteers were so helpful and fun to spend time together. If you’re looking for a place to stay in Lijiang, this will be the best choice!
The food cooked at the hotel was exceptional, very well cooked, had a very homely feel to it. The staff were extremely friendly and they were super helpful as well.
The price/value was unbeatable, location was great right in the middle of Lijiang old town and Xixi (the owner) helped us organize all our sightseeing activities.
