Very nice place to stay. The room was spacious, facing to the river ( the waterfall didn’t disturb us, but you can hear a little noise in the room). Chef restaurant was great! Costs but worth it.The old water mill is nearby and we had a nice walk there after the breakfast.Breakfast was good, very best croissant😉

It was an Amarcord thing for me, to re-visit the place where I used to live as a student in my twenties.
Lots of changes, I liked the old Swiss style.
Charming restaurants, plenty of café.
Very good but extremely expensive train system, buy your tickets well in advance.

The lakeside walk is beautiful, with Alps on the far side.
The lakeside walk is beautiful, with Alps on the far side. The architecture of the old Town is beautiful. There are grocery stores, pharmacies, gift shops, dress shops, cheese shops, chocolate shops, cafés and restaurants within very easy walking distance everywhere between the lake and the famous Collegiale where Reformer William Farrell once preached. The central Marché is an especially picturesque spot for a coffee or a meal at one of its many cafés. There is a funicular to Chaumont and its charming Petite Hotel which serves excellent food. Next to it is a zip line fun park for kids and playground for littles.
The Neuchâtel museum is worth a visit. 2 lakeside restaurants with outside eating are great: Beau Rivage and Waves. Boats to other towns around the 3 lakes are fun and easy to book.

Breakfast was great. Coffee in rooms was great.
Breakfast was great. Coffee in rooms was great. Sixth floor room/attic was horrible. Can’t stand up in 1/3 of the room, portable AC loud and vented through opening in the roof (let’s hot air in). Terrible room. Other five floors looked lovely. This was not a double. It was a mini double

Hotel near the lake and the museum of fine arts.
Hotel near the lake and the museum of fine arts. Finding a parking place was difficult when we arrived. Having a room just next to the breakfast restaurant is no ideal in the morning. Tourist discounts are useful.
Excellent welcome by the staff, we had the impression that they actually enjoyed their job and interacting with us. They were able to lend us an umbrella, which was very useful, and the location of the hotel is very convenient, a few minutes on foot to the center of town. Staying here, you also get a coupon book which grants free access to public transportation and some activities, including a boat tour and the Museum of Natural History.
The rooms were quite big in size and comfortable.
You can find all basic things you would expect from the room.
The hotel is located just outside the old town and takes only 10 minutes from the station by walking.
You can walk to the old town within a couple of minutes.
Nice breakfast.
Public transport ticket was included in my stay along with free entrance/discount cards for city attractions.
We arrived to Neuchatel in October 2022, and it was a complicated period of our life. I can not emphasize enough how important it was for us that the hotel provided a big apartment for us, that it has such a great location and that Giovanni helped us a lot with all our requests. We are very grateful for this and we enjoyed our stay.
The location is great, just next to the lake and promenade. If you are a hotel guest you can park for free in front of the hotel. They give to the guest a parking card. As a hotel guest one can also receive a tourist card to visit museums in the city or use city public transport for free. Nearby there are many restaurants and bars.
B&B Louis-Favre is a very nice place to stay - the staff is lovely, the rooms are super cool and very clean and the location is excellent: walking distance to the train station as well as the old part of town! I highly recommend a stay there, whether you're visting Neuchâtel or just travelling through!
Small hotel located in the pedestrian area in heart of Neuchatel. I stayed in room with private bathroom. Room is very spacious with all thats needed. Downstairs there is a café place where I had coffee and croissant in the morning. Overall good place to stay.
Clean quit location. Close to Bus stop. We used the free Bus pass that came with the Hotel. Ther is a little Bakery around the Corner that was delicious break fast. 10 minute Bus ride to Center of Neuchatel
Cosy family hotel in a nice neighbourhood with typical old houses. Friendly staff, decent breakfast. 2 free parking spots available in front of the house. Clean spacious rooms although a little outdated.
Lovely clean hotel, great position near centre of town. Very safe and secure. A good place to sleep if you're out and about during the day. Air conditioning would be a great extra but we survived!
Exceptional location overlooking the entire town of Neuchâtel, spacious rooms with lake view, convenient parking next to the hotel, restaurant appealing to those who like it more gourmet style
immaculate modern hotel, with well equipped rooms and a great location; the Neuchâtel tourist ticket (provided for free by the hotel) was an excellent unexpected bonus; breakfast was good.
The Hotel is really close to the city center. I really enjoyed the express breakfast (Orange juice, Coffee and croissant). Make sure that you have a reservation for the parking.
