Geneva is one of the best places I have visited. The lake is gorgeous, people friendly, shopping is excellent, weather was lovely, and the tennis tournament I went to was great. The roads are smooth, the city is clean air and clean streets. I loved it here. Free travel pass too from the hotel for all transport links. The metro is easy to use, safe and clean. Geneva is great value for money and a must see destination. Keen to see more of Switzerland now. Responsible citizens too who care about the city they live in which is great. Lovely cafes which open early at 7am.

Really beautiful city and nice to walk around the old town. Lots of things to see and do around the lake i.e. Ferris wheel, swimming spots etc. Found Geneva much more expensive than other cities visited on the same trip so would factor that in to any plans to go there again.

One night is generally enough. Our main interest was the CERN laboratory, which is easily reachable by tram, with travel passes included in the hotel room price. We also had time for a leisurely boat tour of the lake and a visit to the archaelogical site, though we didn't visit the museums, which are also siad to be very good.

It is a quite small city that you can walk almost everywhere historical or popular. public transportation is easy to use and you can go almost everywhere with it. there are nice restaurants and galleries to visit and some museums. if you want to get away for a long weekend and spend quite time Geneva is an alternative. Don't forget to visit close towns by the lake both in Geneva and France, they are very enjoyable and view worth travelling for one or two hours. Definitely bother to climb the stairs of the cathedral, the view is mesmerizing.

Very beautiful city, loved the lake and the stroll in the city center. Botanical gardnen is lovely and so is the mini zoo and sites in Bois de Batie. Carouge is a unique and super nice district! Enjoyed the cafés, the small stores, the artisanal vibe, art where you look. Great tramways, bus system - easy to get around. Next time by bike. The city has lots to offer beside jet d’eau - of course the common chains but check out the area around WHO and Red Cross museum.MartinaSwitzerland
