Allison took great care of us! She texted or called when we were running late when we were out touring the island to make sure we didn't have any problems. She provided some great suggestions for restaurants and exploring the island. The breakfasts were made to order. The breakfast conversations with other guests was delightful!! The Library Inn was cozy and inviting.

We loved the property. We took a beautiful walk from the house along the cliff edge for about a mile to a quiet beach. We enjoyed gorgeous sunsets. Dave and Melanie were very kind. It was a very comfortable home to return to after a long day exploring.

Property is exquisitely landscaped, overlooking the bay. Recently renovated rooms, very modern and clean. No food available on-site but adjacent common room had large clean kitchen available. Not much in the way of local restaurants, so be prepared to bring your own breakfast with you. Cardigan is 25 minutes away with excellent Clamdigger restaurant for lunch or dinner.
Quite a distance from the airport and Charlottetown.
Quite a distance from the airport and Charlottetown. Peaceful town with very friendly residents. One main street thru town had no stoplights:) Right on the coast so great views of the ocean. Walkable town. Many businesses close early so don't plan on a late dinner. There were two grocery stores where you could purchase ready to eat food if you eat later in the evening. I believe the one we went to was open until 8PM.

It was cool and rainy the first day and we couldn't find a coffee shop open (other than typical Tim Hortons). Not a bakery either...the next day was sunny and we spent it at Basin Head, a short drive away. Gorgeous sandy beach with ice cream shops, lunch cafe and facilities.
If you want a more private beach (but no amenities), check out the Black Pond bird sanctuary (just don't expect to see many birds!).
East Point is worth the short, scenic drive. Be sure to go up the Lighthouse for the view and a taste of shipwrecks and explorers.
Super cute little cabins! Would stay again. The bed was comfortable and I was pleased that there was a heater as it was quite chilly the day I was there. The fridge and coffee maker in the room was a nice bonus.
The location is great — it's right by the water. Only a 20 minute drive to the East Point Lighthouse, and try the Eastern Express Foodtruck that's nearby (scallop burger was awesome.)
Kim was a great host — super friendly and ready with information about the area.
We loved that we could just park our car and roam around Souris on foot. Our host was kind enough to have the shanty preheated and open for us waiting. This was welcomed due to the weather being a little cool and damp. Very enjoyable stay!
Brady made a delicious hot breakfast servied right on time. He was a gracious and accomodating host. The location is right in Souris and very convenient and here are numerous room choices, each one different and interesting.
