Different tourists have different tastes and preferences, hence my wonderful experiences of BSB may not be the same as that of others. But given the cost of my recent visit to BSB, I must say that it is like a "province" of Singapore -- with wide, landscaped roadways, generally clean points of interests, and sparsely populated (because of Ramadan?).
We did have a good time!

I love Bandar Seri Begawan.
I love Bandar Seri Begawan. It has been my ancestors' place of origin, of course, but that is not the only reason. The reasons are attractive places located at the heart of the city like Sultan Omar Ali Saifuddien Mosque and Sir Muda Omar Ali Saifuddien Park. Foods also can be found easily at the city at affordable price in Brunei dollar/ringgit.

Not a usual place for travellers, but once you're there you're in awe of the natural beauty and beautiful architecture of the country. It is a good place to travel to for a short trip of up to 4 days.

A taste of the South East.
A taste of the South East. Great food from so many different Asian countries. Very helpful calm happy people. Calm pace, they cannot be hurried. Large spaces, Pop-up street events. Covid-cautious.
My best dinner out was in KIMCHI Restaurant because I wanted Korean food. I was not disappointed. Not easy to get around as no public transportation easily available.... except you call for DART.

Its very small so 3 days is enough time. there isnt much to do but a trip to the mangroves to see the monkeys and to the rainforest is nice and peaceful if you are into nature. There isnt much luxury shopping and it is quite expensive. Local cuisine is good similar to their neighboring countries. Do try ambuyat its quite odd but worth a try.

Not much to d other then visit museums and markets.
Not much to d other then visit museums and markets. We ventured out to Tomburong which is a boat ride away and there are a lot activities there like sky walking where you go up 1000 steps n can see the jungle below, kayaking and trekking.
We ate at the local markets where local food is sold, cheap and very clean and food very tasty. If you are into gardening , few nice garden centers to visit . The only way to get around is by Taxi, which can be daunting g at times .

Great hotel near major attractions within walking distance. Staff incredibly nice and friendly. Came as a solo traveler arrived at 11pm. They put me in a room that had a connecting door to the next room. Door did not properly lock and I did not like that due to safety issues. I requested another room without a door connecting to next room and they were able to accommodate my request and were so nice about it. Breakfast buffet was yummy. Thank you for a wonderful stay.
I had to do my 15 days quarantine in this hotel as there wasn't many other hotels available during the dates I was quarantining. The only good thing about the hotel is the size of the room. The standard double was spacious so you'd have room enough for workouts. The fact that there are a lot of eateries downstairs means that you could get food from these eateries but it is not necessary that all of them will be willing to deliver to the hotel.
The staff is incredibly kind and passionate. The hostel offers free airport pick-up (one way), which is highly convenient. I stayed there for only one night, specifically for 17 hours during a transit in Brunei. They picked me up at the airport on time and dropped me off at the airport early in the morning. I highly recommend that people visiting Brunei stay at the Poni Hostel. If you're lucky, you might even get to see the infant cats.
Booking of different room. Since i selected the promo room. The promo picture of the room mislead the the actual room. But the hotel give the best solution for the booking. Feel great for the solution and helpful of the staff. They provided the best room with double queen bed for the us.. very comfy n great for 1 family room of 4 person thanks !!! Will stay there again !! Supermarket n restaurants in walking distance .
There's a 24-hr reception and the airport shuttle is really nice. We arrived at the airport around 1am, but the hotel arranged the airport car for us very nicely. The room is great for family. And the location is also very nice, just 10min from the airport. There are many restaurants and supermarket around the place.
Very spacious, fits for 3 family. we checked in with total of 14 people. Everything is provided & clean. Really love the place! will definitely come again for our next trip in Brunei. You can bring extra comforter & pillow just in case because the living room itself is big. Beautiful view as well! worth every penny.
Excellent. Very Good location a short drive from the airport and short walk into the centre over a pedestrian bridge.
Facilities excellent. Comfortable and clean. Good value for money.
Breakfast included to a good standard. Hotel helpfully provided courtesy transfers to and from the airport.
My room was clean and comfortable. The AC worked well. The Wi-Fi did too. The staff was very helpful. The YELO restaurant which is part of the hotel had good food and I enjoyed all my meals there. Hotel is close to most things in the downtown area.
We arrived the day before Eid in Brunei, and while we know the staff would probably prefer celebrating Raya with their friends and family, they went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and made us feel welcome in the hotel. Everyone was so nice.
Friendly & excellent customer service from staff member. Room is modern & clean. Bed is comfy. The proximity is convenience particularly for travellers transiting in Brunei arriving at odd hours as it is very difficult to find taxi in Brunei.
The location was ideal as it is close to amenities and the main mall in brunei.
Mcdonalds, jolibee and coffee bean are nearby. Mcdonalds and the nasi shop infront are ideal for supper food (get food before 12am)
A lovely quirky hotel which had everything I needed and more. Huge room, dead quiet and in the best location. $5 to the city and $5 to Gadong. Hundreds of restaurants and everything you need close by.
The location is alright we just have to walk across to airport mall to grab a bite, the room is spacious and clean. The bed is big which will be ideal for couples with a child to sleep in.
Very friendly staff, clean rooms and excellent shuttle service! I would definetly recommend this hotel! Brunei is a wonderful country and this hotel makes it easy to get around.
Clean, quiet, big room very near to airport. The staff were very nice and very helpful. Will surely come back to this hotel if in the future have a long layover.
Staff, breakfast and other provisions were worth our money, and the location was excellent. I will recommend this hotel to friends and office colleagues.
