We came for a fly in at Corowa Airport so our time was mainly spent at the airport. Only problem was we were late into town on Sunday afternoon and had some difficulty finding somewhere to eat but The Royal Hotel's kitchen was still open at 2.15pm and provided 8 of us with a terrific hot lunch.

Lovely old country town with access to beautiful countryside and Rutherglen is a 10 min drive away.
We also enjoyed D'Amico Italian restaurant and Docs for breakfast. Both excellent food and service.

The history of the town was endless, being the birthplace of the Federation. The countryside traveling in and out of town is beautiful. Many pubs if this is your thing, and RSL and Golf Club. The chocolate and whiskey distillery in the old flour mill was absolutely stunning. Many wineries, museums, and much more all around the area and great coffee. Local people are friendly and accommodating.

Murray River Country Town with lots of character and history...
Murray River Country Town with lots of character and history. Has all the infrastructure you need, including sporting fields, retail, cafes, pubs and the people were very friendly. We loved the Whisky and Chocolate factory as well as the Circa 1936 Hotel.
Rooms were basic but very clean, pool and sauna also very clean and well maintained. There is ample parking available onsite. The location is a little out of Corowa but not so far as to be beyond a decent walking distance. Staff were excellent and made every effort to ensure the stay was as nice as possible.
The sauna is quite large considering the size of the motel and the heater was in first class condition.
The BBQ and surrounds is excellent and caters for a large group.
Loved everything about this very unique boutique Hotel. With all of its history and the linkage between it and industry in the town, including the Whisky and Chocolate factory and the surrounding wineries. John and Jen who run the Hotel were outstanding in every possible way! Loved the bank vault library and wine cellar and the continental breakfast was as good as you will get anywhere. The coffee was high end also.
We didn't know what to expect but we were pleasantly surprised with the well appointed room on the river and golf course. Our meal at the restaurant was very nice and there was a great choice of food and prices. The bonus was the free continental breakfast before we left in the morning. There was also a cinema there on sight if we had wanted to watch a movie!
The location was ideal for the event we were attending in Corowa. The room is very generous size and clean. Cath and Gary, the managers, were fabulous and friendly and made feel very welcome. The evening soak in the spa was a lovely way to finish our day.
Location close to Rutherglen wineries was excellent; staff very friendly and helpful; property cleanliness standards were good; water pressure and temperature in the shower was good; Corowa town quite pleasant but very quiet in the evenings.
Absolutely stunning! Jen & John were very gracious, the hotel itself is exquisite. Stained glass windows and amazing bathtub, beautiful little bar and relaxation area. Everything you need close by, we will absolutely be staying again!
Fantastic location near the river and walking distance to shops. Very quiet caravan park with great facilities. Nearby aquatic centre and wonderful children's playground would make this caravan park ideal for families.
A great little family operated motel. Walking distance to the centre of Corowa. Comfortable beds, spacious room - with a kitchenette! Friendly owners who were very helpful with dining suggestions!
We enjoyed staying in the house as it was roomy and had all the comforts of home. The decor was lovely and the location was next to the RSL Club and 10 minutes walk from the main street.
