Breakfast is a buffet. We really liked it because there was something for everyone. The hosts are very kind and helpful.
We went skiing in Obertauern, which is about 20 minutes away by car from the accommodation.
Wellness is a big plus, it is very nicely decorated and has several types of saunas.
Also, the jacuzzi is outside in the yard and we were lucky that it was snowing lightly which made our stay even more romantic.

Actually it was only positive. Obviously, you don't expect luxury, but that's not what you're looking for when you come here and book here.
The facilities were as described, the room was very clean and the view from the spacious balcony was beautiful.
And then there is the kindness and love of the host. Any questions you could ask him, he was very helpful and smiling. The breakfast, a good part of which was home made/cooked, was plentiful and very tasty.
After all this, I don't think there is any question of value for money. We really thank Elisabeth for this experience!

Enjoyed the view from the walking path above the village and we were amazed at how many nordic walking and mountain bike paths there were. Loved the village's atmosphere with the church, the old buildings and the authentic restaurants.
The hosts were super great and really went above and beyond for us!
The apartment was very spacious and clean, with nice kitchen that had a fridge with a small freezer and dischwasher.
Our kids (9 and 12) really liked the pool and the owners dog and cat 😊
And the view from the pool deck is absolutely amazing!
Also a very big, and unexpected bonus, was the free Lungau cards, which got us free entry at a lot of exciting stuff, like The Sonnenbahn and Outdoorparc Lungau.
A great starting point for hiking and biking tours. This village is quiet and very pretty. The wonderful towns of Mariapfarr, Mauterndorf and Tamsweg are nearby. There was nothing missing in the apartment. Clean and nice. Very nice hosts! You can order fresh eggs and milk from their farm and fresh bread from the bakery (you have them in front of your door in the morning). I recommend it, it's worth it!
The apartment was great - spacious, clean, beautiful and well equipped. The vicinity is picturesque and perfect for a relaxed stay - the house is located amongst green pastures and a nearby river (1 minute walk away). The hosts were very kind and helped us with some special requests. Also, we received the Lungau card for the days of our stayinng. A place that makes you want to stay!
Spacious, nice dining/rest room for 10 people, comfortable to prepare meals, ski room, great mountain view, close to several Lungau ski areas. Comfortable beds, enough wardrobes to keep clothes, several bathrooms. Warm despite -20 outside:) We had a great stay of 6 adults + 4 kids. Very nice host! We’ll come back! thank you:)
It's a great place to stay if you want to go skiing or just enjoying the idyllic Austrian rural sites. It's close to a lot of nice ski resorts, and the surrounding area is beautiful. The apartment is spacious, clean and nice looking, whit very comfortable beds. I warmly recomand this accomodation.
Flexible arrival, nice kitchen with a lot of useful tools, tidy bathrooms, nice vibe. It is really close to the Lungau ski resorts, they have a ski room, I was really happy about the separate trash cans, there was also one for the bio-waste :)
The view from the window is also really nice.
Outstanding friendly staff! The female owner of the hotel is an absolute gem with always a big smile and open for a caring small talk but with the needed empathy to realize when guests what there privacy.
Sauna area is super modern and comfortable.
Very kind and helpful hosts. Clean, comfortable large apartment with 2 separate bathrooms and toilets. Well equipped kitchen with enough utensils, plates, cutlery for 4. TV in both rooms and good wi-fi. Lungau card for the whole stay.
Breakfast was very tasty with wide variety, including lactose free food.
Hotel was nice and tidy.
Three saunas and chill out room were great.
The view of the valley and the surrounding panorama from the hotel terrace is amazing.
- the full equipped kitchen - everything you need was in there
- very nice location, Mariapfarr is a very small and quiet village, with beautiful views
- near to both ski domains: Obertauern- 20 min, Kreischberg- 30 min, by car.
Nice designed interiors fitting with the house exterior style, warm wood details, quiet locality, super equipment. Simply, the right feeling of the old Austria in the modern coat. Just Alpinest! We'll come back.
The apartment is quite new/renovated. The kitchen was well equipped (but there is no sponge). Location was perfect, 15-18 min drive to Obertauern (skiing) and close to Mariapfarr (dinner, etc.).
