We were upgraded from having two capsules to a twin room with a massage chair, sofa and plenty of space. It was unknown to us why we got upgraded, but thankful for the kindness and smiles we were greeted with upon our arrival.

Beautiful scenery can be viewed from the balcony of your room, and from the onsen. The staff were very friendly and patient when answering our questions with our little Japanese language knowledge. The food was exceptional, made the stay feel really special and memorable
Very close to the train station and car rental companies. The lounge area are nicely decorated, the bath was really lovely. The steam cleaner in the room is great to clean up our winter coats. Room isn't big but it's kinda japanese standard so no complain. There are some restaurants right across the hotel open until late at night so it's pretty convenient.
It’s very convenient, next to the fish market which makes it easy to get meals. The room was spacious and cosy which makes it easy for one to pack their luggage! Staff were extremely friendly and helpful in helping me get what I needed or recommend where to go!
Very informative, helpful and friendly emails prior to our stay. JR bus from staion then a 5 minute walk to apartment was convenient. Located 5 minute walk from castle and Kenrokuen. Appreciated having dining furniture, usually missing in hotels. Futon was extremely comfortable.
We felt very welcome and enjoyed our stay in the beautiful old House. It is spacious, clean and very well-equipped. The beds are comfortable and the bathroom is best at the end of a long day. Yukata were given fresh each day and breakfast was delicious each day. Most of all we enjoyed the attention given by these kind and friendly people working at "Machi no Odoriba". We learned about the house and japanese culture - a treasure we'll preserve and take with us back home.
It's very neat and tidy. Though it is capsule hotel but quite spacious.
The property was very clean. I liked that the sleeping pods were gender segregated and that you need a wrist band to access the sleeping pods. The sleeping area was very quiet. This was my first experience of a capsule hotel and I felt safe and comfortable staying here.
The pod hotel is quite convenient as it is nicely situated in Kanazawa. It gives direct access to most touristic spots on foot in under a 30min walk for the farthest ones. The onsen/sauna was a great plus. I stayed in a premium pod which means I had a little space on the side of the bed with a table and a fridge. It was possible to lock my luggages in the drawer under the bed. However be aware it is not that big. It is a nice value for money if you travel on a budget.
My first time staying in a capsule hotel and I loved it. It is very well equipped, you get clean towels everyday and also free pyjamas or toothbrush in case you need one. It was very clean and safe (you can only access the areas where your pod is located and lockers are also available). Location is great and the extra points are for the spa area (onsen pool & sauna), which are separate for male and female.
Price/Quality ratio is more than excellent. Can imagine (western) visitors could be a bit suspicious when booking, because the hotel seems too cheap for Japanese standards, but everything is excellent: very friendly personnel, great location, good breakfast and very modern and comfortable rooms, although a bit small, and great spa-facilities. I am normally a sucker for 5-star-hotels....but next time I would pick this hotel over the big 5-star-chains.....
