There are dormitory rooms with bunk beds and capsule-type units in this property. The capsules feature walls on 3 sides for a more private stay. Each unit is equipped with a luggage storage area, shelf, electric sockets and a reading light.

I stayed for only one night, but enjoyed it a lot. The location is great, within walking distance to Nippori station. The room was comfortable, and everyone was respectful of quiet hours. It's a female-only floor, which is nice. Bathrooms were sparkling clean. The lobby is comfy, you can eat there or get some work done if needed but most importantly, the famous and super cute owl is there.🥰 Super recommend for solo travelers looking for a quiet and chill place.

Situated just a 3-minute walk away from Akihabara Train Station, Akihabara Bay Hotel is a female only accommodation offering a 24-hour front desk with free WiFi access throughout the entire property. Guests will find a convenient shared lounge installed with power and USB outlets to charge their phones.

I really like this capsule hotel. It’s so near the Akihabara Station, just a 5 min walk maybe. The area is so great, it’s beside a high rise office building. There are many convenient stores around. If you are going to Tokyo and you’re on a budget, i highly suggest to check out this hotel. It’s very convenient since Akihabara Station is a hub, just like the central Tokyo Station, so traveling through subways and trains is easy. Despite being a capsule hotel, where you need to stay outside from 10AM to 4pm (cleaning time), you can leave your luggage and the assigned capsule/unit and locker during your 1st night will still be the same throughout your stay. The staff can speak English and is available 24/7. Internet connection is good as well.

Looking for a capsule hotel?

Developed in Japan, these cheap 'pod' hotels are a novelty for any traveller. With rows of small single bed enclosed capsules, accommodation is basic and intended to be overnight. There is separate storage for luggage and gender-separate communal bathrooms — some capsule hotels also have a sentō, a Japanese bath house, often for male guests only.

Awesome space for solo travelling. There’s just enough space in your own pod. Well it’s a capsule hotel so it’s gonna be like this 😅. Clean toilets, steaming hot showers, hair dryers curlers n all. Would stay here again!

The hotel staff is very friendly; the room is quite spacious, and it can open two suitcases at the same time; the hotel location is very good, there are three subway stations nearby, and there is also a cheap supermarket, so it is very convenient to travel and supplement supplies.

I came before my check in time and was able to leave my suitcase in their coin lockers. Very nice interior from the lighting to the furnishings and my room was pretty spacious for a japanese hotel. The free breakfast was nice and they offer a take out option which was convenient. The pillow and bed was really comfortable but the size may feel small to some. Since I went in January, the room wasn't drafty or cold inside. Everyone working there I encountered spoke english and was very friendly. The area around the hotel is really quiet!

Loved the location, decor, comfortable beds and clean rooms, friendly customer service. Enjoyed japanese breakfast, it’s pricey and there are cheaper options but it was good. I love Ginza area, hotel is close to many restaurants and GinzaSix shopping mall, literally within few min walk. Walking distance to train station. We stayed for 5 nights and currently in Kyoto, going back for an overnight stay at the same hotel.

The staff were extra friendly and kind. The location is perfect, not too far from main area of Shinjuku and is a quiet neighbourhood. Metro subway is outside so close to transport. The room is expected small size in Japan so can't expect too much. Perfect for the cost of it. I would definitely recommend if you're on a budget trip. Better than going to a capsule hotel.
