The campground is a 30-minute drive from the main entrance of the park and a 45-minute drive from the Elephant transit home. Colombo is approximately 101 mi away while Bandaranaike International Airport is 111 mi from the airport. Super kind and friendly staff. Definitely the best of the camp. The tents are super well equipped. You feel you are in a camp without compromising on comfort. The setting is very nice, and the vibe at night is awesome with the bonfire and the fire lamps. Great option to stay one night if you want to do safari in the afternoon and in the morning.

Located in a precious ecosystem and very well maintained/accommodation facilities. The staff is very helpful. Asanka helped us book a safari at a good price. It is very clean and the beds are very comfortable. I stayed with my 15 year old child and the place was a free place where many parents with children come. Enjoying the river listening to the endless chirping of birds throughout the evening is a favourite of all, young and old.

The location of the place is out of this world, natural beauty, the river is so beautiful. Rooms were comfy, Apart from that the staff were really friendly. They also have many outdoor activities such as kayaking, outbound training activities, hiking, tracking, cycling, camping etc. etc.

This hotel was well run and a very cool glamping experience. Customer service was excellent. We were very hungry one night after a day at the safari and the manager had the buffet set up a little earlier for us which we really appreciated. The staff made is very simple to organise trips and taxis.

Great place.The very clean rooms. Staff is very good. They helped a lot to make my first safari experience a very high, wonderful experience. We also had a lucky chance to see elephants from the room in the evening. Breakfast was also very good. They also found a vehicle for us to go to the beach for a reasonable price.Highly recomended

This is an amazing experience we had during our 1-night stay. We had a very stylish glamping tent which was so comfortable and so spacious. All meals were super delicious. The staff members at the campsite were very friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our time at Mahoora Udawalawe campsite & would highly recommend it.
