First of all, this is not an accommodation, it's an experience. The tents are equipped with everything you need, the beds are super-comfy. Although we were prepared for a noisy night, given the fact that you are in the wild, it was surprisingly calm. The dinner and breakfast were very good and in the evening we had a lovely camp fire. We took the safari organized by the Camp Leopard Team, the afternoon one, and our guides were the best. With their knowledge we were able to see the leopard in all its splendor and all the other beautiful animals in the Yala Park. So if you are looking for something different and an amazing safari experience, search no more.

We could go for hours talking about Beach Bungalow Yala and especially its people. babu, Roshan and the team are the best people we met in Srilanka and probably in the world. They are kind, generous, genuine, sweet, smiling all the time. The stay was unforgettable in everything, the place itself is heaven on earth, the food is wonderful, the beach, the dogs, the cats… and again what made everything special was the energy of the people. We will never forget them in our entire life and we are coming again to stay here and to visit them.

Basecamp - Yala features mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking, located in Yala, 15 km from Situlpawwa. Nilantha wpis an amazing guide and it was the main reason we booked his accomodation. I can reccomend to anyone to book a safari tour with him as a guide. He was very insightful, has a lot of knowledge of animals and nature in general. Has degree in biology and published various papers. Smart guy. The accomodation was a fun and unique experience.

Situated 15 km from Situlpawwa, Yala Wild House offers BBQ facilities, and accommodation in the wild with a patio and free WiFi. There is a seating and a dining area in all units. Beautiful, authentic and wild place right next to the safari park. The host is fantastic, really kind and welcoming and made great food!! The place is rustic but very clean and all adds to the feeling of being immersed in the jungle.

Situated in Yala, less than 1 km from Situlpawwa, Kulu Safaris - All Inclusive features accommodation with free WiFi, air conditioning and access to a garden with a terrace. Kulu Safaris is a completely exceptional place to stay in every way and it was the highlight of our holiday in Sri Lanka. The staff are so friendly and go out of their way to make your stay memorable. Our guide, Jeana, was very knowledgeable about Sri Lankan wildlife and a lovely person, we learnt a lot from talking to her on our safaris. We also went kayaking on the lake which was beautiful. The tents are so comfortable to stay in and it's a very peaceful location, surrounded by nature. Everything we ate was absolutely delicious and we were served our meals in different locations around the site, which was beautiful and very romantic. It is expensive, but the safari and other activities is included, as well as all food and drink, and so I think it is definitely worth the money, particularly as Kulu is very eco-conscious and ensures minimal disruption to the wildlife. Overall, I couldn't recommend staying at Kulu more highly, and I hope to go back one day.

Big Game - Yala by Eco Team is located on the edge of Yala National Parks, a 20-minute drive from the Katagamuwa park entrance. This tour was great. We stayed one night and did an afternoon safari and morning safari before leaving. The staff was excellent, tent was great, food was good and the safari exceeded expectations. we were lucky to see 3 leopards on the morning safari and many elephants.

Mahoora - Yala by Eco Team- Level 1 Safe & Secure provides tented accommodations in a wilderness setting at the border of Yala National Park, the 2nd largest national park in Sri Lanka. The place is amazing, if you're really looking for the feeling of being on a safari, I highly recommend it! They offer outdoor dinner with barbecue preparation, and then a night walk, we even saw a porcupine! We booked the safari with them, you wake up at 5 in the morning and enter the natural park at sunrise. The tents are spectacular, very well decorated and with all the comforts. The shower had hot water. I loved this place so much and I would definitely go again. The personal was really helpful. Thank yoooou

Kalimetiya Beach Cabana, a property with a garden and a terrace, is situated in Hungama, 400 metres from Gurupokuna Beach, 35 km from Hummanaya Blow Hole, as well as 50 km from Bundala Bird Sanctuary.... Really enjoyed my stay. Very friendly and warmhearted host family. Can definitely recommend.
