Short walk to the zoo (there’s also a treetop adventure there) and its hotel where there’s an indoor pool/small spa (not too expensive for outside guests) and a restaurant. Lots of hiking trails too, and a beach whitin walking distance, don’t know what they are like as didn’t try them. The cabins are very clean and comfortable and the staff is friendly. Less than 1 km to walk from the train station, but the trains only run twice a day in each direction. 20min by train/car to Tuuri where there’s a free funfair for the kids.

Situated just 10 metres from Lake Rautavesi, this property is 1.5 km from central Vammala. It offers accommodation with free Wi-Fi, as well as a kitchenette and patio. The camping staff was very helpful and friendly. We couldn't meet in person but they made it possible for us to arrive very late at night even the reception having closed at that time. The small cabins are surprisingly well equipped having a fridge, microwave, water boiler, heating and a fan. Also the camping site looks very beautiful, especially by the waterfront at night (were there is a sauna and a hot tub).

The location was peaceful and quiet, and my hostess was very kind and helpful, even waiting up late for me to arrive. I would gladly stay there again someday!
