Located within 31 km of Skukuza Indigenous Plants Nursery and 24 km of Skukuza Museum, Nkuhlu Tented Camp provides rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Skukuza. Where to begin? This tented camp exceeded all of our expectations. The tents were beautiful - had everything we needed. We booked a river tent and so glad we did, the view was breathtaking and we were lucky enough to have elephants cross the river and walk right past our little balcony. The bed was v comfy, wifi was spotty but better than we expected considering we were in the bush. Staff were amazing - Hazel was brilliant and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. This is a self catering camp so be sure to stock up before arriving so you don’t need to leave the park (there’s a big shopping mall is Hazeyview which is about an hour from the Kruger gate). Stayed for three nights and loved every minute. Can’t wait to come back!

There is a private bathroom with shower in all units, along with a hairdryer and free toiletries. A continental or buffet breakfast is available each morning at the property. Although it's a tent, it has all the hotel facilities inside, and the service is also very high standard. The three meals are also very good. I even ran into an antelope on the less than 100 meter road to dinner one day. Of course, if it's just these hardware, this Lodge won't leave a very prominent impression. Safari's tour guide will do everything possible to help you find animals. They share information about animal presence and will not rush back due to a 3-hour time limit. Before coming to Kruger, we had seen some animals in Chobe and on our first day here, we collected big five, which we were quite satisfied with. But the next morning Safari collected big five at once, and the luckiest thing was to see a group of five lions, who were located on the border of their private territory. I sincerely recommend the highly cost-effective Umkumbe bush lodge, and I believe I will always remember the beautiful memories here.

Situated in Manyeleti Game Reserve, Buffelshoek Tented Camp offers a garden and barbecue. Sabi Sand Game Reserve is 34 km away. Free private parking is available on site. The property was in Manyaleti and there were no fences. The animals were free to move around. We had hyenas, giraffe, elephants and lots of birds in our camp. Our game driver, Beksom, was unbelievable in the way he was able to find all the animals. We loved the simplicity of the camp. All the meals were excellent.

Jackalberry Ridge by Dream Resorts, a property with a garden, is situated in Marloth Park, 19 km from Crocodile Bridge, 43 km from Leopard Creek Country Club, as well as 2.2 km from Lionspruit Game... Honestly I think the images under sell it, once you get there it is magical, little paradise in the bush. I wish I could have stayed longer. They respect guest and the facilities are good.

Crocodile Bridge Safari Lodge borders directly on the Kruger National Park and is situated on the banks of the Crocodile River where wild animals are viewed directly from the lodge's accommodation,... The hosts are wonderful, a family atmosphere, amazing food, a view of the river and you can see animals very close to the room, an excellent place a minute's drive from the entrance. Great value for the price

Experience a tented safari adventure at a ‘big 5’ reserve in the greater Kruger National Park area, where 2 en suite tented camps offer you the chance to get back to nature. Location was great, as it’s in the middle of the Manyeleti and not fenced. Therefore you are truly experiencing the bush.

Set in Middelburg in the Mpumalanga region, Bezhoek Tented Camp features a patio and garden views. This property offers access to a terrace, free private parking and free WiFi. We loved our stay! We did the morning and afternoon game drives. With the morning game drive there is coffee and a rusk included and with the afternoon gamedrive a sundowner (or soft drink) and some biltong The beds were super comfy and the tents very clean. We were surprised to hear so many birds The food was good. We loved that there’s so many hiking trails and the waterfall was a bonus! We will be back to hike more. The staff was friendly and talkative, they informed us before we arrived that they had some rain and that the roads just started to clear up but if we got stuck we should just send them a message My partner and I celebrated our anniversary there and even received bubbly on the house

Shindzela is a tented safari camp, set in a traversing area within the Timbavati Private Nature Reserve, part of the greater Kruger National Park, South Africa. Refer to my previous review, it’s lovely
