It was so relaxing to hear the nature and just enjoy the moment. Private terrace made sunset watching even more special. I wish we could have stayed longer there

Dioclecio was a very friendly and helpful host and his responses when we messaged him were instant.. Everything was really clean and we had everything we needed. A very beautiful place to stay. We would highly recommend it.

Mountain Eco Shelter 5, que tiene vistas a la montaña, ofrece alojamiento con terraza y patio a unos 25 km de Cabo Girão. The location, the accomodation, nature.. everything was amazing. The house is well equipped, the views are stunning, and there is quiet and calmness all around.

Mountain Eco Shelter 4, que tiene vistas a la montaña, dispone de alojamiento con bicicletas gratis, jardín y terraza a unos 14 km de Puerto deportivo Marina de Funchal. Lovely cabin surrounded by mountain views, we saw so many stars at night. There's a great place to eat and drink (O Barracão), just 10 mins walk from the cabin, and it's only 20 minutes drive from Funchal (we had a rental car, but I believe there's a bus stop nearby too). It felt like a little home away from home, bed was very comfortable, shower was excellent and the little kitchenette had a stove top, microwave, kettle, coffee machine and fridge. Our host was wonderful, very welcoming and gave us lots of recommendations. I would definitely stay here again!

This place is located INSIDE the national ecological park, and provides access to some of the best hiking on the island. We were a family of three, and everyone slept comfortably, and enjoyed walking to O Barracão, which has amazing poncha and a great food selection. The property also has a small pond with trout, and friendly donkeys. Dioclécio greeted us, and had great recommendations for hikes and information about the local area. We would love to come and visit again!

Mountain Eco Shelters 2, que tiene vistas a la montaña, ofrece alojamiento con patio y cafetera a unos 25 km de Cabo Girão. I loved the decor in the house it is so in tune with the environment. Location is great for all the hikes. Donkeys were super cute too. Loved that it is remote so you can see the stars at night.

Mountain Eco Shelters, que tiene vistas a la montaña, ofrece alojamiento con terraza y balcón a unos 25 km de Cabo Girão. The shelter was exactly as shown in the pictures. Very comfortable! The location is great, there is a very good and low price restaurant that you can reach through a short walk. Dioclécio was very kind and gave us a few pieces of advice on what to do in the area. The position is strategic for PR1 and other trek routes. It has been an amazing stay, and we're looking forward to coming back. This place is pure beauty!
