Great staff, especially Anna at the front desk whose recommendations for restaurants and excursions were excellent. Lovely breakfast. Located right beside the castle and walking distance to everything including Roman baths and bridge..

Makikita sa Peso da Regua, Norte Region, matatagpuan ang Original Douro Hotel sa layong 400 metro mula sa Douro Museum. Lovely place, very well decorated! Great work of renovation so that the hotel keeps authentic character while gaining comfort. The hotel personnel is very sweet and helpful. The breakfast is absolutely great with home made, local products and fresh fruits!

Offering a terrace and views of the mountain, Candeias do Souto is located in Bragança in the Norte Region, 9 km from Braganca Castle. Guests can enjoy the on-site bar. Perfect location for relaxing or hiking in a beautifully refurbished old stone building with a nice garden. Great breakfast and very friendly staff. Definitely recommendable and we'll not hesitate to book this again if we want to return to the region.

The 3-star Hotel Albergaria Borges provides modern accommodation in Chaves, just 1.5 km from the city. Incredibly attentive staff. We are travelling with a baby and the staff preemptively helped us all the time without us even asking. They put us in a room at the end of the corridor so we wouldn’t disturb other guests, helped run food to my husband from the restaurant as he stayed in the room with the sleeping baby, and had a table ready for us at breakfast in a separate to the other guests. These actions just took all the stress out of our stay and shows how attentive the staff are to the customers and do things without it even needing to be asked. Thank you so much for the team to make it a hassle free stay.

Overlooking the scenic Douro River Valley, Quinta da Casa Cimeira, Guest House, Wines & Food is set in a historic country house and surrounded by a garden and vineyards. Wonderful stay! The dinner was really tasty and it was amazing experience to have a dinner with all guests at one big table. Also hosts were very friendly and hospitable.

Featuring a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, garden and views of lake, Belas Vistas Hotel is set in Montalegre, 24 km from Carvalhelhos Thermal Spa. Arrived super early but room was ready so let me check in. Off road parking within the grounds for motorbike and able to park at rear out of sight although it’s a quiet place, beautiful views, good breakfast and room was very spacious clean and comfortable. Staff were helpful. Nearest super market was around 11km away. Petrol station just up the road and there’s a restaurant around 1.5k or so up the road that does lunch and evening meals.

Situated within 13 km of Natur Waterpark and 37 km of Douro Museum, Casa do Santo - Wine & Tourism features rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Provesende. We loved the exquisitely decorated guest house with a stunning view in the most beautiful rural location. Maria was very friendly and accommodating and prepared the most delicious dinner on the patio overlooking the.pool and vineyards. The breakfast was also outstanding and we loved everything about our stay!
