From the very warm welcome when we arrived, the lovely hotel tour we were taken on, to the beautifully furnished rooms. Everything felt just right. Like coming home. And not to forget mentioning the rooftop with 360° degree view of marvelous Madeira. Every single just detail seemed to be thoroughly considered when working out the concept of the hotel when it opened in 2019. Light scent of apple in the hallways, a fully equipped kitchen, a Harman Kardon bluetooth speaker and a TV that allowed you to stream your content via Apple AirPlay our Chromecast. What could mid-twenty travelers want more?! Not to forget the rooftop pool, DJ sets on the weekend and drinks that knock your socks off. Prior our arrival the Three House reached out via WhatsApp asking when we would arrive and whether transportation from the airport is needed. Like, did you ever communicate with a hotel through WhatsApp? Whenever we had a question or just wanted to know where the locals eat - we just sent a text and got the greatest recommendations that made our stay in Madeira even more memorable. Every hotel should just do that. It just feels so natural. If you visit Madeira and plan to stay in Funchal, this is the perfect place. It’s location in the city center with free parking let‘s you get to all attractions and Funchal’s old town in no time. Enjoy the traditional meat skewers and drink as much Poncha as you can (take it with ice though). If you fancy something more experimental, try the hotel restaurant with a sundowner drink on the rooftop after. The Three House just gets it how a hotel experience in the twenty first century should be. Thank you!

El São Francisco Accommodation ocupa un edificio reformado de 6 plantas con ascensor y ofrece WiFi gratuita. Sus habitaciones son modernas y se encuentra en Funchal, a 5 minutos a pie del puerto. Fantastic location with lots of restaurants within a short distance. The rooms were impeccably clean and the staff was friendly and helpful.

El Saccharum - Resort & Spa es un lujoso hotel de diseño de 5 estrellas situado en la playa de Calheta, entre las montañas de Madeira y el océano Atlántico. Great place, great location, perfectly organized, it's really worth its money! Breakfast outside, on the terrace, looking over the ocean - just WOW!

El Aqua Natura Madeira tiene 4 estrellas y ofrece habitaciones elegantes con vistas al océano Atlántico en la localidad pesquera de Porto Moniz, a 45 km al norte del centro de Funchal. Tiene sauna. Even in bad weather you can still relax with a view of the sea :) Comfortable beds, excellent breakfast. Parking at the hotel. The location is also good for trips to nearby levadas by car. We also ordered a massage (standard quality) and ate at a Japanese restaurant (longer wait, but good food). Wifi without problems.

La Casa das Proteas se encuentra en Sítio da Felpa (São Jorge), en la isla de Madeira, y tiene vistas al océano Atlántico. Breakfasts were great also the view and the peaceful area. The staff were very friendly and Teresa (the owner) is a very professional and kind person. Totally recommended!

Con unas impresionantes vistas a la costa noreste de la isla de Madeira y a las montañas circundantes, este hotel de 4 estrellas ofrece habitaciones con Wi-Fi gratuito y balcón. Everything was great. The view from the room was great but rooms on the higher floors had better views. Breakfast and dinner were both great. Staff were great.

Este hotel de diseño ocupa una casa de campo tradicional reformada y ubicada sobre un acantilado con vistas al océano Atlántico en Ponta do Sol, en la costa sur de Madeira. Beautiful views, friendly and attentive staff, very nice breakfast. We were there at the beginning of January and were able to enjoy the outdoor pool and ocean views. We had a car (which we recommend so you have the freedom to explore the whole island) and there is free parking available below the hotel on the street with a lift up to the hotel. We will definitely book in again if we come back to Madeira.

Impressive property, great location, friendly staff, delicious breakfast with great variety of options, complimentary shuttle to and from downtown Funchal. We thoroughly enjoyed every part of our stay!
